Earnings, as oddly as this sounds, are almost irrelevant at this point. It's the forward looking guidance that we should pay attention to. It's what they tell us they believe is coming - what's in the works.
It's just postponing the inevitable. Feel good advertising from McDonalds is having less and less effect as
people aren't dumb - they're waking up. If you don't change your food - advertise all you want - you're on
a sinking ship. Where's your food grown, what legal and illegal poisons on used in growing. How's your beef raised, what do they eat, what hormones, steroids and antibiotics are your beef given. Same with chicken and farm raised fish. Don't give us fluff advertising - we want the real story.
Use those as opportunities to get out. Look at the trends developing in the food industry - it doesn't take
a rocket scientist to figure it out. McDonalds is a victim of its own success - it built an empire on serving
unhealthy, chemical laden food filled with legal poisons. The time where such activity flourished is coming
to a speedy end and those who are awake enough to see the change should get out.
They just closed 700 stores - they are growing? - they don't know what to do as people have come to know
McDonalds as selling unhealthy food for decades. Labeling McDonalds food as unhealthy is really very
generous. Management is lost here, they'd have to change their whole corporate environment which they
can't. They're stuck in their own ignorance. As Bob Dylan's song says ' you better start swimming or sink like
a stone for the times they are a changin'. 'The first one now will later be last for the times they are a changing'
I think we'll see iso blend pumped very soon at marinas as well. Boat owners will be thrilled to buy a fuel that protects their engines.
They're not going to do an offering now, no need, at least not at these prices. If the price were 4 or 5 then I think they might. IMO they will wait and let news unfold and re-evaluate as price rises.
After years of research, development and now production the consumer is buying iso blend gas for
recreation and off road vehicles etc. the flood gates are about to open - the new technology is being
used by consumers and that is a BIG deal. It's just one gas station but you have to start somewhere
and this is the beginning.
Oh, tough guy huh. Do you think at low volume production it's going to sell at same price as
undesirable ethanol blended gas. The price for boat owners and off roaders is not a big deal
if it saves their engines. Get a grip man.
This is first of many pr's showing iso is gaining traction
They're worried here
But it's started! First of many to sell iso blend
"This is anticipated to be the first of many retail locations to offer Gevo's product as the company rolls out its isobutanol to the marina, outdoor equipment and off-road gasoline markets."
