Hey dopey. Don't give up your day job. Your future as a prognosticator of stock price is limited.
The stock is up from a split adjusted $7/share 11 years ago. You don't think the street knows that GILD management is shrewd?
"Ths is a M&A candidate if the PPS doesn't catch up soon."
Just who has the roughly $240 BILLION it would take to buy the company?
If your opinion actually meant anything, then your downward revision might mean something.
However, your opinion means nothing.
You're going to have to pump much, much harder. Your current pumping effort ain't working.
They sure do because it was announced over 6 months ago...
First of all, who is "we/"
Second you are a fool to believe GILD will be the third or fourth most valuable company in the world next year -- with less thanbf $30 billion in sales
NOWHERE in the article did ANYONE say it is going to double. The question was asked, but NO ONE said it would double.
The first analyst said he'd probably be selling some at $120. No why would he do that if he thinks that $210 is on the horizon?.
Stock splits don't affect the VALUE of what you own, just the number of shares.
If you owned 1000 shares of a company and that was 25% of the company, and then the stock split 2x1, you would own 2000 shares but still only 25% of the company.
"Gilead has fought the case to a win-or-lose decision,"
You are partially right. GILD has fought to a "win" decision. It's NEVER lost a patent dispute to another company.
