Nice try misconstruing the PR. It says: ''received a preliminary comment letter from the U.S. Food & Drug Administration ...The letter was sent in response to questions BioCryst submitted to the FDA in advance of an upcoming Type C regulatory meeting regarding i.v. peramivir. The FDA also suggested the Company request a pre-NDA meeting''. The FDA was merely responding to BCRX. FDA reviews plenty of drugs that they then fail.
If the FDA had been willing to approve without a US P3 then why were they running one? The *fact* is that trial failed. Is the FDA now going to say, oh, well never mind?
FDA not in the habit of approving failed drugs. Don't need a PR to spell that out. Enjoy this little pop while it lasts.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
I've been watching you for over a week. My first message was polite, now I am telling it like it is. I know you are actually interested in selling rather than drive the price down, because you let some of it get filled. Next, you are an *idiot* because your offer size is more than twice the daily volume. A block that big will simply scare away buyers. Go find a broker who will let you display less than the entire order or just cut it down to a reasonable size. Or just keep dropping the offer price like the idiot you are and sell it for 5 or 10 cents. Meanwhile, the rest of us will refrain from buying until you are gone, while anxious sellers just keep hitting lower bids.
There are a couple of sellers offering to sell about 630k shares at .469-.479. Helloo - if you read this board and actually want to sell the shares you have to show smaller blocks. This stock is traded by small players and no one is going to buy with this overhang.
The part you left out was where they state that the "guaranteed" part of this contract is 4.7 mill over 2 years.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
With the company sitting on $105mm cash the remaining $50mm of convert debt is not going to be able to get a death spiral.
the negative messages here are from disgusted and disheartened longs. Blaming the shorts is a stupid thing people do when stocks drop. Do the shorts ever blame the longs when stocks rise?
If successful this will be a very good thing as the upcoming debt maturities are one factor depressing the stock.
not bad at all if, like the PR, you ignore the *massive* increase in interest payments. What did they do, refinance at some absurd interest rate?
Yeah, I'll elaborate. you woulda saved yourself some $$ if you had bothered to read my previous postings.
1. This is a continuation of a previous program. There is no particular reason to believe this will increase revenues.
2. This is an IDIQ contract. That means "indefinite quantity" The big figure quoted does not mean the actual $$ will be anywhere close.
A pleasure taking your money.
Dream on. This is an IDIQ contract (ya better look up what that means) and a continuation of the DESP II program.
this is a follow on to the DESP II program which NCIT has already been participating in. For example: http://www.wikinvest.com/stock/NCI_(NCIT)/Diverse_Base_Key_Prime_Contract_Vehicles
