that's easy.. the retail crowd is jumping in early in the day on any whiff of news, and the institutions are dumping into that strength all day long. Simple, really
Who are the pumpers trying to move this stock, and why isnt' working? That is the question you should be asking. I, we, no one that I know, is short this stock at this time.
You realize if data for CIC is done year-end 2014... NDA filed in 1H 2015, 74 days to get a pdufa date, which is 10 months later, you are now in middle 2016, launch 6 months later, which puts you in 2017
Long long long timeline.
Plus Phase 2 right now is taking much longer than expected, by about 4 months right now. I fully expect CIC phase 3 would run over too, bc they are rejecting a lot of candidates.
Plecanatide phase II trials for IBS-C will reach enrollment completion in late 2013 (it was halfway there in July) and data is then expected to be released in Q1 of 2014. SP-333, Synergy's second-generation GC-C agonist used to treat patients with opioid-induced constipation (OIC) and ulcerative colitis (UC), is currently enrolling patients for a phase II trial that will be completed in early 2014 with results to follow shortly thereafter. Lastly, plecanatide phase III trials for CIC should be started by the end of 2013 with data released toward the middle of 2014. This would set Synergy up to file an NDA in early 2015, with approval in early 2016.
a ton of money being short, but those days are over as we go to uninvested in this stock at this time. We may go long, but there are a wealth of unknowns in SGYP, not so much about the compounds, but if there really a market to support multiple providers already in this space. I hope it goes to $10 for all you deserving longs.
$4.80 avg -3.95 is $.85 profit per share. You are like Oceanmechanic.. you don't know what shorting a stock is. Many of you guys should be in mutual funds, not stocks!
bought back all shares over the last 1.5 days. We now own ZERO shares of sgyp as of tonight. I hope it goes to $10 on Monday.
wine, and libations.. These fools don't realize we have sold the stock short.
