  • There are already 50% more forest fires in Calif than last year! Getting water to fight the fires is getting much harder if the first problem isn't enough. Many bodies of water to refill from are drying up due to evaporation! Now they have to fly farther to get water to fight the fires increasing turnaround time. The question is if they can get to some of these lakes with their motor boat and watersavr to treat these lakes. Maybe they have other methods such as with a helicopter too. Fighting forest fires should be a major, major priority in this country. To many people it looks like this is a far off problem and doesn't affect them. Who knows what impact all these increasing forest fires is going to have on everything.

Not particularly big drops yesterday, but 2 times they were large volume sells. I guess some just can't hang on for the ride-very typical of the nervous nellies. Its laughable even the so called "professionals" are just as bad as the general public. I'm not saying they're the ones selling; I have no way of knowing that. For an answer to netbum my monthly bar charts say hold on. A sell signal is not indicated until u see a monthly bar not reach the height of the previous month. There are about 3 other selling scenarios (one of which the monthly bar is greater than 3 times the length of the bar right after the most recent Big low. None of these scenarios is present here though.

  • I couldn't see the rest of what u typed though. I really haven't been checking on ABAT much at all. Seems I remember it was less than 0.10/sh and I was surprised at this price.

  • the chart says Its still full speed ahead! I'd say there is no reason to expect Wichita Falls, TX to order any watersvr because as I reported earlier their reservoir is now to full capacity. Its overflowing. Just before the floods hit it was reported this reservoir was down to 17% of normal. I'd also say that at this level there probably seemed to them that there was no point in adding watersvr anyway.

Now to Calif. Many people are taking the drastic step of filling in their pools and jacuzzi s with dirt. If they continue to maintain their pool I would think they recycle and constantly treat the water they have in them and use a negligible amount of city water. It would make very good sense to add watersvr to limit evaporation losses of their precious water. They say there is another El Nino and Calif. will be much wetter this Winter, but that will do little to replenish the aquifers. It might bring the reservoirs back to be in good shape though.

My chart says: FULL SPEED AHEAD.

  • Maybe someone here knows how this works, but I think his ridiculous intentionally poorly researched articles are actually like a psychological test where the task they have the subject do is not the real interest; they are really studying the subject's reaction. Here he writes a provocative article to purposely attract interest and generate responses. Is it not true the more responses he generates and more hits he gets the more he gets paid? That was him, the same person, last year who wrote that absurd hit piece on HIMX on SA.

You're one of those who drifts along aimlessly and has no idea where any stock is heading. U site a bunch of generalities about stock behavior mostly on a very short term basis. U might predict a pullback or call this a pullback, but u can't see what's going to happen several months down the road. You'll be looking back then and this will look like an insignificant blip while the stock by then has surpassed your wildest dreams. You'll have to eat your words.

I bought FSI about 2 months ago and am up very nearly 100%. Counting inter-day quotes I would be up over 100%. I saw a pattern developing which matched my unique proprietary trading strategy two months ago. In the past few years I've made 500% in little over a year, 25% in 9 months, 40% in 7 months etc etc on stocks using my strategy. And, no loses! I wrote a little book on my strategy years ago and was selling it on the internet. I used to sell a few books. It disappoints me to see people invest in stuff they do for such measly returns while I have total confidence (97%) in what I'm doing and I buy large $ amounts of these stocks. What I do is just "Too good to be true" for these people.

SO WHAT! U question this? U know VERY little about stocks and boy are u dumb! This might have been true in the past: their earnings were a bit on a roller coaster then. But, the reason things are different now is, u know, that was a 400% increase in earnings and the co. says this trend is going to continue for some time. Why do u keep bringing up Wichita? The town in question is Wichita Falls, TX and no with all the flooding in TX all the reservoirs are full. I don't believe they'll be thinking about 'Watersvr' right now. I'm no expert on TX; it could be West TX still has problems; I don't know.

There must be a well connected small bunch on Wall Street in collusion with Chardan. It looks like they have been picking on and bashing HIMX ever since I've known about HIMX. Why are they picking on HIMX? There must be other stocks they're doing this to also. Yet, despite all their bashing HIMX went from less than a $1./share to $15. in about a year. That's a pretty meteoric rise! $4./share price target is beyond absurd. Chardan can't hold HIMX down

Remarkably HIMX has been trying to tout this pico projector for several years now. They are actually the leader in this! What excited me most though is that HIMX tried to tout their 2D to 3D conversion chip several years ago. Not only does it display 3D as 3D, but it actually converts 2D to 3D!!! I'm not making this up; its dependent on some special physics of light. It occurred to me but apparently lost on everyone else that this could be good for giving people a virtual walk through for real estate or a view from the top of a building or viewing a road map to an address or view for surgeons or who knows. I agree it looks like people just can't grasp things unless it smacks them in the face.

I think that was addressed in the last cc. Actually, I'd say it doesn't look like Wichita Falls or many places in TX are going to have any issues with drought for quite a while now. It looks like just the opposite. Saw that on the news with pictures of their Lake Arrowhead and they said it was back to normal.

However, there is still Calif. which has got to have much bigger drought problem and I don't think they get those deluge type rains like TX. THE MORE IMPORTANT NEWS I THINK is that FSI did this well WITHOUT orders from Wichita Falls and they are saying this will continue! I've made over 70% on FSI in less than two months. I've bought stocks before that have done exceptionally well, but this is outstanding. I'm assuming you're doing very well on FSI also.

Other things to note is we should expect oil drilling and oil well services to pick back up because the price has made a quick rebound; although, someone reported that Iraq was going to flood the market with oil. Don't know what the break down of FSI's revenues is, but they seem to be doing very well.

I haven't yet. I would really like to cut loose of this yahoo entirely though.

Who gave me a thumbs down?.... Oh, I know, its frankie.

  • discountbrains by discountbrains May 26, 2015 10:31 AM Flag

Probably a month ago or a little more I bought a lot of FSI. I have already made 70% on it so far! I'm going up. Is anyone going with me?.... One needs to be cautious though; at this point this is paper profits. I tried a few weeks ago to reduce my position and none of my order was filled. It was trading pretty light back then. If I try to sell with much heavier volume in the future I will probably be able to.

On another note, last week I saw an interesting article about how smartphones are on their way out and will be supplanted by wearables such as HMDs etc. My disguised link to it was taken down and my whole post was even deleted. Yet, frankie can come on here and post multiple modified links and get away with it! I need to go over to stocktwits and leave this yahoo alone. I wish we all would migrate somewhere else and just let yahoo languish somewhere in cyberspace.

  • what about the future prospects due to the Calif. drought? Now they are jumping on Starbucks and the bottled water industry for using too much water. Yet, by my figures the entire bottled water industry uses less than 0.1% of what any municipalities use and this in turn is less than 20% used. Agriculture uses 80% of the water. I haven't done the math, but the 30% saved from evaporation by FSI's Watersavr might even be more water saved than the bottled water industry uses or Starbucks uses!

Some people have claimed in the past that if a company announces their earnings after the market is closed that is a sign news is not so good. Maybe sometimes this is true, but u can't read anything into this. Many companies have a habit of releasing their earnings after the close. If I'm not mistaken I believe AAPL does. Of course, a company releases their earnings whenever its convenient for them. It turns out these earnings are 400% times consensus! The street BETTER be cool with this.

  • get so excited about that??? Wu said, "HIMX is in ALL THE HEAVYWEIGHTS IN THE INDUSTRY". Isn't that a lot more important to u? Wu said they are all coming to HIMX for their designs.
