Check out historical prices for past distributions paid, as Bonus said, the future looks more promising in a average market when the Oil glut is used up some since most U.S. drillers & frackers have had to cut back due to lo prices of opec.
Why is this unit price moving up on a day when they announce Propane is more plentiful this year than it was last year at this time & the price will be cheaper this year? Lower prices mean more usage?
That`s a pretty good amount for a first time buy-in, I only hold 300 units myself. I`m hoping this will hold & continue to edge up higher, I feel pretty confident, You can bet the distribution will remain solid, just have to wait a while now before next quarter is declared. CCLP sure is looking solid today, read where J.R. picked up some more at the good price, I just set on my hands with limited funds & no guts, best to You, C.J.
Since earnings report & postponement of Charlotte Reit plus market turmoil, it seems like NYMT can`t get back to $7.00, must have lost some book value along the way?
Bodean, Don`t forget about the new Mexico Warehouse, I know some of the products are going to South America.
Appreciate the math, Alex, You are correct on the buy-in, $55.26, till death or buy-out do us part for me & SPH, as You say the distribution is the best thing going here. I`m not sure how much of it has been return-of-capital, but nice anyway. I hope You & all new holders here the best in trading & investing, don`t mean to be negative, but You see where I`m coming from.
I`m a little closer to retirement than You are, also an investor rather than trader, hoping to be able to count on my portfolio for some extra income & then pass on to my Son, not to worried about paying taxes other than my regular draw-outs which are required. I have never learned how to buy the preferred, seems to be a better investment going that way, a little different ball-game though, best of trading to You, Mojo.
Less, it seems to me many Co. Heads did not see the boom coming to the point we all see now. Are You a LINE Holder? We thought management made a good buy-out about the same time, but not so when the Oil business & USA got dished by the saudies & opec by flooding the market with cheap oil. I don`t understand why our government want lift the Oil embargo & let our people continue to work here, instead of being laid off.
Alex, You checked back 20 years on this & still bought it? I bought in Oct of 10, been down hill fast ever since. I wish I could say You got in at a good time, afraid not, especially with the Bear taking control. I hope the market proves me wrong because I`m hoping to live long enough to get half my loss back. No harm intended to You, just facts. That Fat distribution has suckered a many a good men into this losing Co., hopefully they got out without to big of a loss.
I agree if You are market savvy, trader, or You hire a good manager to handle your 401K . Some people don`t seem to be interested in what they will have for the future, will wait until nearing retirement before even getting interested in what they will have, I see this where I work. I`m nearing retirement age now & don`t want to loose what has taken me five years to get back from last down-turn, that makes a lot of difference, watching closely now as we have already seen how much worse it can get.
I`m going to hold & watch to see how low this correction takes us for now, don`t feel to bad about that high buy-in, if we live long enough this will make a very good come-back the way I see it. You might want to keep an eye on CLMT, been in this Co. since Jan. of 10, they have had their problems, but seem to be working them out now.
You got that opportunity today you were looking for, dropped down to $13.61, but picked back up fast, some see this as a good Co. regardless of the price & situation of Nat. Gas. Don`t imagine CCLP is buying their on units, maybe so at the low of the day.
J.R., I checked out CCLP through Vector Vest, they see a few good points in their opinion, but rate Co. a sell, pretty good examination in every aspect.
Looks to me like some changes in China management are going to make a big difference for YUM, up after hours, hope it carries over tomorrow & holds. If this falls through, maybe head management will finally separate China into YUM International or their own subsidiary.
You say short term, Bear, Its been down hill for almost a year now, sure would be nice to see some upside & hold, I don't see it happening any time soon, a month or two may take us down further, I`m holding to see, to much loss to get out now.
