The Rest. business is one that is the most difficult to make a go at. Many niche places who subscribe to a certain ethnic taste have an even tougher time. The ones that seem to be most successful are the Chinese ones and are usually not a fast food chain but are mom and pop run. Many of the so called fast food places tend to stand out as the "greasy, high calorie, never eat there because that food does not meet my standards does not mean they will not be successful. Many people who feel that way want to compare it to 5 star standards, but I have eaten at many 5 stars that do not measure up to some of the fast food standards.
Maybe you are correct, but I am not investing because of the food, but because I want to make money.
If you are strictly looking at the calorie numbers than most places fail. It's all about personal choice and because it is choice you do not have to shop there. Many others that do will disagree with you .
4183 shares with a projected dividend of .50 a share and 10% rise each year for the next 5 years.
Hopefully this will make my 15k + dividends each Q grow faster. Also got 16k in cash of which I must save some for taxes, I am figuring about 10k since they were MLPs and now have to pay the deferred taxes and cap gains. I guess we will see!
Really, do you know what a troll is, probably not since your speech revolves around the kitty litter box.Anyway here is the Definition
One who purposely and deliberately (that purpose usually being self-amusement) starts an argument in a manner which attacks others on a forum without in any way listening to the arguments proposed by his or her peers. He will spark of such an argument via the use of ad hominem attacks (i.e. 'you're nothing but a fanboy' is a popular phrase) with no substance or relevence to back them up as well as straw man arguments, which he uses to simply avoid addressing the essence of the issue.
Does that actually define you? Well yes as you could have chosen to correspond to me or any of the other posters I correspond with. Since your posting is infrequent and mostly deals with Penny Stock, you would be most at home with a laser pointer playing with your CAT.
You have some choices put me an others on ignore or don't read what we post. It is a simple fix and maybe something that you can use to satisfy your issue.
OK, so you found me! Does this make you HAPPY? WHile your discovery may be monumental to you it is just a side note in the effort to provide solid investing information. This board like many others seem to hold the interest of some who believe they shake the world, but are just a pimple on someone's backside. Are you also a pimple?
I have been investing in the utility companies and they appear to be going up mainly because of the lower energy prices. My MLPs were starting to show fatigue and so I sold all except the KMP and EPB shares and will receive about 50k cash and 10000 of the KMI shares.
Have a good day.
Would like to see a split as it would generate I believe more activity, but probably will not happen.
Also picked up some AVA....A Northwest utility ...pays dividend in December.
Actually I have done quite well on some of the MLPs and when they drop 7 to 12% I always get out. I hate dropping them because of the tax burden associated but am still ahead.
I own KMP, EPB, ETE and several utilities. Also own 2 Canadian stocks CVE and CNQ. They should go up if Keystone gets approved I have some other MLPs as well mostly Natural Gas related.
The KMP,KMI, EBP, KMR merger into KMI a non MLP should net me about 56k and a ton of share of KMI. The orugh estimate of the taxes I have to pay on the MLPs I own will be about 15K and kmi going forward will pay .50 a share
I also own AWK, you are correct and well the dividend is not that bad, with any dividend stock it could always be better. GUESS I AM JUST GREEDY
Are getting ready to pay their dividends, of course the MLPs are tax deferred and although recently beaten down there are some of the pipelines that are seeing a resurgence.
Have had success with PCG, DUK, AEP. I also have recently invested in 2 Canadian stocks both associated with the XL pipeline which with the changes in US government should be approved CNQ and CVE, although their yield is 2-3 still are inexpensive and both seem to be moving up nicely. Have been looking aat some of the Pizza companies as well, wish chick-fil-la was a public company they are doing a blockbuster business, seems like there is always a steady line. My view is they are the best fast food.
