How did your driveway seal go? It can be time consuming if you do it yourself, especially the expansion joints
as I did one many years ago and now I do not have to....well unless I want to, I do not mind doing things as long as I know how to do them or know someone with the knowledge to tell me how..
I was in the markets yesterday doing the Buy thing, spending time on the research side and than taking the plunge on 4 mlps with a 30k investment in each they all have about a 6% yield maybe more after yesterdays plunge. Picked up at close.
Got to run...meeting CC on Austin investment this morning. We have another interested party, but the company is currently breaking even and our next move would be a buyout or maybe even an IPO, although a buyout would be most advantageous. I saw a bunch of ignored earlier, guess the natives are restless.....LMAO

  • I will be flyingto Tampa Nov. 4th for closing, I was first originally told end of October but original owner had to clear up some paperwork. So all is good.

Had to laugh remember Chicago said I did not own EMES and now what would he say?.....LMAO Obviously I own it...can't have it both ways......OH! THE STUPIDITY !

John. glad you liked it. We were really quite impressed and although our deal is all cash we did discover some obstacles to many would be buyers without the means for the purchase. Those who have to finance start out with at least 20% down and next ir the hard part. I really do not understand it since it does not apply but all loans require flood insurance. That part I understand because most of Florida is near or below sea level, but it is the cost that somehow is the killer and the amount of coverage and what the homeowner would pay should there be a flood. Luckily I do not have that issue, so no worries. I think that those reasons contributed to a lower price in the negotiation process, one never knows, but my assessment.

I also have a busy day. Later
BTW :My program picked up some new ignored as well. Guess they need something to do. LMAO

John, I will tell you over phone, too many prying eyes over all message boards, if you know what I mean

From what you said it is working and that is what counts. Will take some tweaking to make it fully functional. If need be I can dial in and fix, sometimes easier than over the phone.

  • According to America's largest pipeline operator, Kinder Morgan, America's demand for natural gas is set to soar 36% over the next decade, fueled by a switch to natural gas-fueled power plants and liquefied natural gas exports. As impressive as the gas production from the Marcellus shale, if it were its own country, would be the third largest gas producer on Earth, it is expected to increase production by an additional 112% by 2024.

Your assessment of some being unfamiliar with MLPs is correct. Their initial stance as witnessed in the past is to try and maximize their returns by timing the markets and shorting the markets. While I question their ability to short a particular stock they just do not understand the how MLPs work and while some adjustments are necessary once the content is established one can just relax and reap the tax deferred or in some cases tax free distributions, unless THEY SELL. Taxes are immediately required and at short term rates and that plus the expense, and depending upon the sell may miss the distribution, especially when using trailing stops. I personally only use trailing stops before my initial account is settled down and after that point use limit orders to monitor my accounts. Does this mean I do not get stopped out on a one day or 2 day downer or are my accounts settled down so that I can wait for recovery. It's not as if I need the money, but some will come back and if you are an astute individual who can read, you should be able to make your OWN DECISIONS.

If not you can rely on Cramer.......LMAO,LMAO,

  • Will require the reboot of system.
Initially this is a program that will require some changes over a period of time to eliminate the unwanted messages but with a few parameter changes at some point it will automatically remove 99% of them. They can on occasion take out messages not associated with the multiple ID bunch who FEARS us the most but you see this is a message board, so in all cases we do not care. If questions call me I will be home most of day. So I can help you if you need help. I can even dial in to assist if needed.

John, from what you posted it is apparent that they do not understand dividend investing or MLPs.
I have no intention of schooling idiots that for what ever reason cannot make it in today's world. After all it is THEIR MONEY and not mine! LMAO, LMAO

  • Hoping for some increases again this Q. most all will be giving out increases and hoping for a $70k+ payout.
With the Kinder Morgan reorganization I expect about 58,000 less about 40% because of the tax issue on the MLP conversion but will be getting about 11,000 units of KMI and will be getting the last 6300 in distributions this Q. Hoping that the prices stay down to buy some more cheap stocks. USDP will IPO this week and until the pipelines arrive should be a good stock. I wish the BNSF was a public company like Union Pacific, but cannot have everything that's why USDP should be a good stock as they do not have the needed pipelines and the only LNG plant is in Tioga. Will discuss further .

Long trip 2k miles but all is well and family including Dog was happy to see me.

  • While there are many in this limited world of investors it is refreshing to know that the MLP holdings that I have owned for more than 1 year continue to perform as advertised, and that the distributions I receive currently are tax free and will continue to be for some time. You see I am invested for the long haul and while some are down from their highs their dividends continue to go up and the unit price does not reflect the industry. One must also remember that selling them at their high incurs a short term gain and is taxable at a higher rate. For those who bought on speculation and than sold thinking that have avoided the TAX MAN will be in for a surprise when they fail to wait for the K1's and file early. That is something the IRS monitors very closely.

EMES Emerge Energy Services LP 147.69% Yield 4.39%
    HCLP Hi-Crush Partners LP 31.41% Yield 4.76%
ETP Energy Transfer Partners LP 19.79% Yield 5.81%
TCP TC Pipelines LP 45.24% Yield 4.95%
SRLP Sprague Resources LP 48.37% Yield 6.59%
ETE Energy Transfer Equity LP 46.06% Yield 2.59%
EPD Enterprise Product Partners 21.58% Yield 3.67%
KMP Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP 22.22% Yield 5.89%
MWE Markwest Energy Partners LP 14.95% Yield 4.65%
NGLS Targa Resources Partners LP 33.73% Yield 4.46%
EEP Enbridge Energy Partners LP 26.08% Yield 5.89%
EPB El Paso Pipeline Partners LP 13.19% Yield 6.38%

While those listed are only the MLPs held less than a year my list is greater than that.
Those that would not understand how to make money are considered to be Amateurs and do not understand anything beyond 1 or 2 days. The new site works fine.

OLd Howard posted about his Man Club in Florida, probably his own MAN CAVE, LMAO. What makes this so funny is that most "STRAIGHT PEOPLE" would not even be aware of such a place unless they were searching for vacation places that cater to their lifestyle. John mentioned that he even gave search instructions. I wonder if Fran knows of his secret desires, unless maybe she is a Drag Queen or Transgender. I suppose maybe that is possible since anymore anything is possible..His burden to carry I guess and his business.

  • If as some suggest they never lose, then why play? The first I was able to participate in tailgating at the Grove and is really the best tailgate experience ever, why even Shepard Smith of Fox News was there. Of course we had this big motorhome but were able to set up our canopy and enjoy the experience. So after a little rest up we started back home and currently are about 700 miles down the road. Will have to fly to Tampa at end of month for closing on the Condo.
