All for LNG facility, port, pipeline infrastucture, etc. Doesn't look like pipeline in the area is gonna be a problem. Japan has bigger LNG companies than Petronas.
IDK.. Does Petronas have all their permits? The Mylasian company and country announced last week to invest $36Billion in British Columbia.
Prolly had to do with article on Shell investing $12B on offshore Texas deep water rigs to extract 230,000 barrels per day by EOY 2014. Prolly why they are selling the Niobrara.
Countering thoughts: 1) nobody wants the HRB NG reserves - I doubt that considering what has taken place in the market already. 2) RDS Sandwash basin finds nothing - I doubt that will happen because we already located 15 x 35 mile strip that is highly probably and the question is how much can a 5-7 stage fract well remove/extract daily. 3) NG prices are gonna fall - not with the EPA mandates in place, LNG exports coming, and rig count being at 18 year lows for 6 months. 4) What is a pipeline breaks - the oposite effect happens 5) Toby Darden is quiting/retiring beause of what happened to the stock - nope, he goes out a winner with a great HRB deal. 6) Hedge fund will kill the stock - already did, and now they are reversing their strategy and will make a killing toward the upside.....any more thoughts?
Bond prices up sharply at 97 pts, 3 conference call presentations within the next 6 weeks....Guys I don't see any downside risks in the stock at current prices. Way, way, way undervalued. Complete disconnect with the market.
And Baker Hughes NG rig count still at an 18 year low going into the LNG export business cycle.
Where is that line today? With big seller gone after taking a huge tax loss will they wait 30 days to rebuy again?
5 days ago. Maybe Malaysia can use the HRB gas. If the plant and pipeline is worth $36B wonder what the 14 TCF is worth now?
Pre-arranged exit! Handled over the exchange right before our eyes and now neither party is here?
We need the big buyer to want more, or another big buyer to want to get in, and the shorts to want to get out or have to get out. Glen and company have (3) conference calls within the next 6 weeks. 11/5 earnings and discussion about recent activity, 11/22 9AM ET Bank of America Merrell Lynch Global Energy Conference, 12/11 3PM CT Capital One Energy Conference.
Either way NG is headed higher. Are they completely out? Good ridence. Some hedge fund prolly used them to hold it down. Now they gotta cover on their own.
I wouldn't spend too much time worrying, as i can tell you that Southern Co is preparing to use Mega loads of NG for the next 40 years. Wilsonville Steam Plant converting 4 units over, no more coal...Greene County Steam Plant - fixing to go completely away from coal.... and SO's margins will still be the same. Likewise, add Duke Energy, and 20 more companies with it and you have $6 NG forever......when I was 16 I bought gas for .30/gal and I'm not even 50. Also, LNG plants exporting will begin less than 1-1/2 yrs. Future looks bright and NG rig count down to 18 yr low. Be patient and buy hard on the pull backs.....one of the best investments in the US market place right here before you and you are fortunate to be in the right place at the right time....
