Can someone tell me what the price/share cost basis would be for the 14:1 split of SSE from CHK? SSE started trading today at around 23.62/share.......X # of shares = cost basis???? Thanks in advance for your input/knowledge.
Can someone tell me what the price/share - cost basis is for the 14:1 split of SSE from CHK? It started trading today at around 29.33......is this what I should use as the cost basis X # of shares received? Thanks for your input......
Another reason to leave Michigan!!!! Get a Walmart card and save $0.15/gal......every little bit helps :))
Vanguard Natural Resources (VNR) already moved to monthly distributions last year.......its nice and I agree that I wish more MLP's would do the same.
Check out the distribution increases for PAA and the big MLP daddy - KMP which both have significant price appreciation compared to ETP.........I'm not saying ETP is still a decent long term investment since I have owned it for 3 years and counting.......I'm just saying that there are other MLP's that are better investments if you want price appreciation as well as a very good yield with steady distribution increases.
There is no beef......only the bun-heads on the board which refuse to ever raise the distribution.......There are many other MLP's that are better investments than this POS!!!! IMO......
Do you really think it will go to zero and delist or is there a chance that it will reverse split when it gets below $1.00/share?
Vanguard Natural Resources announced it has entered into a definitive agreement with an undisclosed seller to acquire certain non-operated oil and natural gas assets in Montana for a purchase price of $131.0 million..............secondary offering will be coming soon.....how many units and at what price....TBD. This could drive this already beaten down stock even lower in share price. I'm holding on but it is painful.
Secondary offering of 8.7MM units on 11/9 to raise funds to puchase permian basin oil fields from Concho Resources. This should be a good thing and eventually price should go back up. Want to buy more shares .........does anyone know what the offer price is for this shares being traded on 11/9?????
IMO.....it seems that everytime IBD revises their market outlook to "market in correction" the market goes up......time to do the opposite of IBD's recommendations since their credibility as of late has been very poor. They seem to be "behind the eight ball" when it comes to predicting market direction/trends and they have caused me to lose money w/ their poor advise.
Agree.......I am getting out of this POS as soon as I can get close to back to breakeven. Something is not right w/ the price action for this POS......2X short term VIX is BS. I learned my lesson and will never trade w/ an ETN again.
IBD still has "Market in Correction".......getting whipsawed back and forth with S&P index around 50 DMA. IMO...we are still way overdue for a real correction of 10%.
How about Cramers #1 stock pick in 2011 - Alcoa.....hows that done for ya???? Agree....he is real bad at analyzing global macro-economic picture and what impact it has on the US stock market. He is almost exclusively focused on US corporate earnings which is good for stock picking but bad for overall market.
On a technical basis...........S&P 500 now has 50 DMA resistance at 1374. It will be important for this index to close under this resistance in order to confirm the continuation of an intermediate downtrend and pullback and possible correction.....IMO.
that we are in "correction" mode. Market does not show any meaningful conviction to go down at the end of the day trading. Europe down 2.5% and US doesn't even get 1.0% down. No correction until we can get a very high volume - 2% + drop in one day with increased downward momentum at the end of the day trading.....IMO
The US market indexes seem to be always down less % than the Europe and Asia markets. Is the US economy that much better than the rest of the world or is it because our Fed Reserve printed a lot more money to artificially keep our US markets propped up more than the others? I think I know the answer:)
