with the price settling between .70-.75 i think you'll see 30M raised from a dilution sale at those levels... i don't think ocz would settle a low ball BO offer and will try to make it on its own....
or... they are getting BO for cheap or there's an asset sale coming up.
pretty simple. at the time, their IP was actually worth something, and they were 3-4 quarters ahead of the competition on the consumer front (was led to believe the margins were much better)... they're enterprise was coming along... they just needed to fix the execution issues. the NAND constraint issue was bigger than anyone had ever thought and the prolonged restatement process really restrained their credit situation....
at this moment, they're IP is still worth at least 100M, but with their backs against their walls with no CASH and no NAND, they simply are waiting to be eaten by the vultures... why pay a $1 when you can get it for .50? This was a huge learning process though, and I am young and will make it happen. This has truly inspired me to become a better person and will make me commit to better decision making.
cmon bro... i lost a huge chunk of my net wealth... and i just sold another 1/3 of my position.. so i'm out 2/3 at avg of .73 now... lets not kick the guy on the ground, k?
i just sold 1/3 of my position at .78.... very hard thing to do, but i think the writing is on the wall now.
lol it won't even get that far... the end game is near. like i said, i think this thing will drop to make the premium will get seem large enough to warrant a BO.
they're are still a bunch of longs holding, and the company continues to disappoint... i think the main thing is that we were led to believe that the tech was much more valuable than it actually is... but the problem is that with no cash and no NAND supply, any potential suitor will just wait till the very last moment to buy OCZ prior to BK to get it for scraps.
1. BE by fiscal '14, 2. Secured NAND agreements for Q3/Q4, 3. One small customer, 4. Grow rev 20% YOY starting fiscal '14, 5.expected impact to be de minimis, 6. etc... can't think of any more too angry but many more.
its just ridic to think no one wants this company as cheap as it is... with their backs against their wall i guess toshiba will just lowball them or they opt for BK.
quick i need tvtman to say our patents are worth 1B, billbill to copy and paste another worthless ssd article, and ru4heaven to write another rambling incoherent thought about graphene tech before i start to hyperventilate.
