I bought HMLP today @ $17.99
About 9% yield. Pays in may. LNG carrier, also an mlp,but I think they do K-1's, which complicates taxes, somewhat.
Bought EPD,GEL,and GMLP when oil was around 26/bbl. The first two, being midstream mlp's, the third being an LNG mlp, doing carriers,FSRU's and FLNG's.
They are all up,but I think, with patience, you could buy units cheaper on a pullback. Have a lot of CPLP
Big disappointment. Especially that the preferred B unitholders kept their full distribution, while they killed the common holders. But it is a limited partnership, meaning we have no say.
Asked about sec filing. They said the filing thursday was only a "refresh" of a previous 500 million dollar mixed shelf offering in order to keep it active. Nothing new here,no indication of plans to sell new units, buyback or exercise options for ships.
I sent the CEO an email, asking for some kind of explanation about the press release thursday that has disappeared since. Always had good results talking to Paul at Capital Link. No answer, this time. If I get an answer,I will share it. Don't think we will know anything til the next earnings announcement.
