I thought that Panasonic was building the Gigafactory for batteries and Tesla would be purchasing them from Panasonic. You seem to imply that Tesla is funding the Gigafactory.
I saw on the Tesla site that some investor in Tesla is concerned that they are wasting money by building the Gigafactoryl. I thought that Panasonic was building the Gigafactory and not Tesla. Which is it or is Tesla sharing the construction cost?
It has dropped much more and I am now wondering why China's stabilizing has not taken hold.
You perhaps spoke too soon!
An article on Zacks indicated the Gigafactory is slated to be finished in 2017, but that does not mean it can't begin production of lithium ion batteries for some clients in 2016.
According to morning news article Tesla is having discussions with LG Chem of South Korea concerning Lithium Ion batteries for automotive use. How will this affect Panasonic and the Gigafactory?
When will Panasonic early staff arrive at the Gigafactory? Seems that it was to be about now. No info release so far that I have read. Has anyone else seen any news yet?
