I suspect people are just wanting some more solid information on direction of the company right now.Should become clearer next week. For now it seems you have flippers pushing the price around.I listened to the last conference call again and am still very confident that they have the goods ,they just have to work out the details with the FDA on timelines and which ,what kind of or how many trials are yet to be set in stone.A little patience and hopefully some news either before or day of that first conference June 3rd,this Wednesday.Patience ,something I lack, could win out here. Traders seem to be all over this ....when it didn't break and run at 11.50 .they got bored with it! LOL!

You could be right TREVOR but if I were shorting this one I'd be concerned about some good news hitting BEFORE the conference, not necessarily the day of a conference call. You can see the battle going on toward the close.High of the day but shorts pulled it back a few pennies.A positive mood is starting to ramp up on the stock,,,,,,ready for the run to 15.00 ? Get your battle gear on!!!

"Hey, does this mean you're a buyer at 10.50s or are you waiting?"

We all know this will go ripping higher but I just wanted to see the gap filled before taking a position me psychic or just lucky ....either way the gap is filling and then I think its on like Donkey Kong.

However, the wallstreet Hos may take it lower than just the gap fill needed from the spike created 5/8/15

I'm familiar with the quote :)

Actually I have a 44 special but that is neither here nor there...... #$%$ are you talking about?

The post was directed to Richard pumper who said I would be left behind a week or two ago and the gap would never fill .I disagreed ...I won.

It is about .10 cents away from filling completely.I took a small position and may buy more next week if it keeps dropping.......

Your post makes no sense when put into context with mine.........

    Are you a flibbertigibbet ?

"Not worried about a gap in a stock that dropped 70%. Not all gaps get filled, this is one that won't. You'll be left behind if that's what you are waiting for."

I guess you was wrong huh? Gap almost filled but not quite. Hmmmm I don't seem to have been left behind.

  • donodoya1 donodoya1 May 18, 2015 7:57 AM Flag

Yep you're right half brains don't think it will go up but those with the whole brain do ...ya know...just sayin......

  • donodoya1 by donodoya1 May 12, 2015 8:16 PM Flag

That was created a few days ago from about 10.45 to 11.20 In my opinion the stock needs to fill that Gap and that is why this isn't running higher. It approaches the 11.00 cliff but buyers come in......

    Stop it....

    wait ...

let the shorts have their momentary glory

Let the gap get filled. If you're a buyer it will be to your advantage, buy more cheaper on the drop ,if you're a seller it will be to your advantage to short more and drive it down and profit from it.

After the gap fills then the sucker will explode toward 15.00's just my opinion but I think that pyshological Gap that was created is what is holding this back from the run everyone wants...let it happen.

Take the medicine ...If it does fill I hope I have some cash available because I'll be a buyer.I'm waiting for the gap to fill ,otherwise if it goes up without me ,then so be it.I just don't think it will.......with all you smart traders here ..why has no one mentioned the GAP? You pretending like it isn't there? :) Pretending it isn't there doesn't mean it isn't there.

"On August 22, 2014, the Company completed the sale of substantially all of its assets used to conduct the ASO business for $61.0 million, less a working capital and indemnity holdback of $1.8 million and $6.1 million, respectively. This sale was a strategic decision to allow the Company to focus on 1st Detect.

FILING DATE 09/30/2014.... PERIOD ENDING 06/30/2014 (PRIOR to the sale of ASO August 22nd,2014)
THEY HAD Cash and cash equivalents $ 3,831

FILING DATE 11/14/2014 .....PERIOD ENDING 9/30/2014 (AFTER the sale of ASO)

Cash and cash equivalents $ 45,271

Cash and cash equivalents $ 6,790
FILING DATE 05/11/2015 .....PERIOD ENDING 03/312015

Cash and cash equivalents $ 6,666

So apparently the cash was moved to

" short term and/or long term investments "

    Wondering what those "investments" are?

My point is they showed on the books 45 million cash two flings ago and now it has been disbursed elsewhere

    Creative financing I suppose

Looks like I'm seeing only Cash and cash equivalents at end of period 6,666,000 6.6 million ??? I thought they had more than that with the sale of Rastro ....they must be burning through some change .....If they don't start picking up some revenues the losses will get a little more severe won't they?

"Good news is that the synergy in the combination trial should be very complementary" If I'm not mistaken your reference to synergy is touching on the important and I think MOST important part of this call.

The company reiterated the point several times and I think they were trying to get people to realize that what was MOST compelling in the trial was the fact that "Prior PGA use produced enhanced IOP-lowering with Rhopressa at weeks 2 and 6" "IOP lowering at month 3 equivalent to IOP lowering in non-PGA subjects" "Prior PGA use had no effect on Timolol efficacy" SLIDE 12

To not get overly complicated and I am not a pro when it comes to pharma companies or their trials and tribulations but I think the BEST and most important can be summed up in this sentence SLIDE 26 of the call

"The potential synergistic effect of PGA+Rhopressa is a positive for both Rhopressa™ and Roclatan"

Paraphrasing, they stated numerous times how amazing this synergy was between those who used PGAs prior to the study and those who did not,or those who used Alpha or Beta Blockers?? compared to PGAs.

They stated how important that was and there has never been ANY drug that has done this before and plan on checking this again in the next study or trial for comparison .If you look at the slides specifically #s' 12,16,18 and 26 touch on the use of the PGAs but no where in print does it state what I think the speaker was trying to emphasize how important this discovery was linking the use of Rhopressa and the use of PGAs and the synergy that resulted in the lowering of IOPs in the trial patients who had used PGAs'.

Correct me if I AM WRONG BUT THIS DISCOVERY unknown until they saw the trial results could result in an added usage for the drug that they were unaware of and could be an additional factor helping approval along for an eventual NDA. (New Drug Application) In other words the discovery presents and additional reason for the drug approval of Rhopressa and Roclatan.

Humorous ..I didn't see this material information in any press release.Admittedly it is in a filing with the SEC so they are probably covered but sure is a far cry from the screaming PRs' publicizing their initial endeavours with Frasier isn't it? Guess they quietly snuck out the back door. You couldn't pay me to even flip this stock until after the reverse split..that is if they survive long enough for that to happen.

"During 2014, both parties agreed to cease the program related to the project. The parties have negotiated the return of the funds which is expected to be approximately $1.4 million. The return of these funds will occur in 2015. When these funds are remitted, the contract will terminate. The remaining balance of $1,840,404 is in our accounts payable at December 31, 2014."

    Does this sound like,

"No fundamentals changed, no estimates" ?

From the 3rd Q conference call date FEB.13th

"Based on the current state of oil and gas industry, as we previously discussed and how we anticipate it will affect us, we have determined it’s necessary to update our fiscal year 2015 guidance. Revenue guidance is now $48.5 million to $50 million, previously $57 million to $59 million, which would represent a revenue increase of 37% to 41% over the previous year. We expect our net income to be between $5.5 million and $6.6 million, previously $8 million to $9.5 million which would represent a decrease and increase of negative 2% to 18% respectively over the previous year. We remain very confident about our long-term opportunities and ability to execute our growth strategy at the appropriate time."

Let's see if we can't keep it real..all OIL related stocks took a hit on their fundamentals certainly,,,,,,,,,,,that being said ,at the time OIL had dropped to 45 and was probably making them pretty nervous but OIL did recover and now is sustaining above 50.00 a barrel and looks like we will test 60.00 possibly as early as today. So the market seems to be strengthening and their estimates might be under....could be a case of under promise -over deliver which I think the company has been known for in the past.

It certainly isn't all gloom and doom and if you're short maybe should be covering

Don't forget the company went into this drop in OIL prices with cash in the bank,ZERO debt and a good solid longterm strategy. The market is forward looking and there will come a point where the market will recognize it and flippers and peeps not in will be left behind as this moves back to the 3.00 level very fast.

I do agree based on the PFIEs' strong balance sheet it has been and continues to be oversold. This should be above 2.00 at a minimum and I do believe when the market figures it out it will move back above 2 fast and furious.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

" I think that is necessary at this point. For OE to be doing something. Anything to look occupied. Stockholders tend to like to see that."

Well that would have been nice of them 2,3,4,5,6 months ago..... Little late for that after the dom Focks wasted the last 6 months sitting on their derriers collecting 6 figures ,what a bunch of maroons.

Fool me once shame on you ...Fool me about 7 winters in a row shame on me....geeeez people how much BS can you shareholders take?

  • donodoya1 donodoya1 Apr 15, 2015 5:52 AM Flag

I agree with you Gar.... .....just been trading but stopped that when I realized this deal could blow up in their face at anytime and secondly ...if I ever trade it again .it won't be until after the vote and if it is a yes vote......I'll wait for the reverse split and then the guaranteed beat down it will take afterwards.

It's obvious the company has been desperate for some time.Obviously as well that the judge(s) in Ohio don't give a dern about OMEX and how their bills gt paid.Obvious that the UK doesn't give a dern about OMEX and how their bills get paid.

MGMT. Made a lot of speculative moves over the last few years in the hopes that things might go their way. They didn't not entirely their fault but who else can you blame? ...whether OMEX wins or loses ,,,I.E. stays afloat ...the shareholders lose either way.
