brian12372, you indicated your blood glucose went from 232 to 202 in about 14 minutes when the Afrezza kicked in, but did you measure later to find out how low it went maybe an hour or two later? I have great hope for your insulin routine now, and I wish you all the best.
cphammer, you posted this below in response to clevans1 posting something under the topic of Anyone know? For some reason that topic was deleted by clevans1 or someone. There was a research paper on this board several months ago that described this insulin action on the liver of a dog under test. Is this also where you are getting your information about human insulin, Afrezza, regulating the human liver in this manner? As I recall MNKD personnel were involved in this dog trial. I am sure your quote below is how Afrezza is acting on the liver to suppress glucose production while Afrezza, human insulin, is in the blood stream, but I wonder if there is another research paper you are referencing.
cphammer wrote, "For the record, a healthy person without diabetes also experience an increase in blood glucose. The healthy pancreas releases insulin to counter the transient blood glucose spike while at the same time providing feedback to the liver to stop glucose production by the liver since its no longer in a fasting state. Uhm does this sound familiar class? Can anyone name the single drug on the market that mimics the physiologic response in the diabetic patient.?"

michaelmurphy234, you should read Psycho Analyst's recent articles on Seeking Alpha in which she talks about Bydureon's dangers to your health. If you are not concerned about your diabetic health relative to $15 extra per month, no one cares but you.
thanksfather1, it looks like my post was deleted, because I inserted some url information. Search twitter for @kellyclose and not @kelly close. The instagram video is nice. It shows afrezzauser loading and inhaling a mealtime dose of afrezza. From loading to finishing inhaling only took him 5 seconds, and I know because I timed it. Kelly Close is the editor diatribe, a diabetic topic magazine.
mangum51, there is no doubt the volatility of stocks that have weekly options increased after the weekly options were available for those stocks. It makes it easier for a player to suppress or increase the stock price movement short term without as much time premium. That is my observation.
I am all for Ken Kam's doing what he does on Forbes, but you should know he appears to work for Marketocracy's Masters, the same business Nate Pile works for. I am hoping Nate Pile is going to help move up MNKD's stock price and hasten a short squeeze with the good information he will receive from diabetics who use Afrezza. He's a smart guy, and will be able to know the difference between shorts or other bogus inputs to him. I am sure he or his people will contact some or all of these people if they have interesting inputs about Afrezza.
I looked at an input from Afrezzauser that stated he was standing next to 2 other trial participants, and the post was from from 15 hours ago. the topic, Afrezza Users, was posted 16 hours ago. mrmrsjiveturkey deleted the topic, so I cannot read any part of it other than Afrezzauser's reply. Does someone here remember what the post said (that must have been untrue because he deleted it when Afrezzauser posted some facts).
sellhighdrinklow, you are clearly not a type 1 diabetic. There is a time line involved. Go back and review your readings. Also afrezzauser stated he has his Dexcom set to alert at 150. If you still represent yourself as a diabetic, get yourself an Afrezza prescription and enjoy the benefits. It will answer your questions.
richlittle35, you have to look at the various option strike prices, volumes, and expiration dates to understand what is happening. Yes, there is no stock to borrow to short as a stock trader, but the option market makers do not have that issue. You can always express a plus or minus bias with option trades with the market makers. The options are the area you need to observe each day or each hour.
factspls88, when the Sanofi JV was announced, he did say very quickly one morning that shorts would need to cover. That was long ago, and Cramer went back quickly to don't buy with a different reason each time.
mikesmilitaria, I have tried to get doctor.stockpicker's attention on the problems of his prescribing Metformin, but I have never gotten any replies from him. I share your concerns about Metformin, but doctors appear to prescribe it all the time to Type 2 diabetics. That practice should stop I hope with Afrezza's availability. I lifted your Metformin post below. Maybe you can get doctor stockpicker's attention.
"That one pill per day, like Metformin is poison.
The RX of which you speak forces the body to "circumvent excess sugar" and pass it thru the kindeys and out via urination. Now if sugar(diabetes) destroys your organs and now with that one pill a day, you put the kidneys thru handling excess sugar, day in, day out, what ultimate effect will that process have on your kidneys? That is one of the box warnings on the one pill per day.
Afrezza is natural human MONOMERIC insulin that has a therapy profile identical to that of the pancreus.
It has NO adverse side effects and "balances the body's sugar" the way nature intended.
Metformin takes the pancreus and forces/squezzes the organ to produce insulin so you in fact, take a weak, barely functioning organ and wear it out, pushing you to T1 diabetes from T2."
evlradr, brheavy posted such a study MNKD did some years ago in which they actually did part of the small trial study by inhaling Afrezza without eating anything before or after inhaling, and those patients did not experience hypoglycemia. I believe it was in one of those PubMed abstracts he posts from time to time. I read it within the past 30 days or less.
dmorgan2151, Indian oil company reported to have CHK as its target. Mentions Obama visit to India on January 25 to meet with Modi. FYI.
winwina88, Sanofi will drop the news on you like the Swiss Central Bank dropped the Swiss Franc news today.
centralcoastinvestor, Al let us know the $50 million milestone was to meet the Afrezza volume availability for product launch by January 23. He said MNKD met the milestone two weeks early. Al also said the yields of Afrezza were better than forecast.
