5% yield-6pe on next year..sell to me all day

Just a small piece of advice from a guy that has been doing this a long time and has amassed a great deal of wealth....I used to day trade...Now less than 1% of my trades are a day trade. You are far better off finding undervalued companies, companies that are selling a a great discount, and being a bit patient. I am not of course telling you what you should do, I am just passing on some wisdom. Day trading is extremely stressful and ultimately will not gain you very much wealth what so ever unless you are exceptional at it..And I mean to be in the very top tier of people in this field....And normally they are playing around with a great deal of money.......Good luck to you either way....D

Relax...I have been at this a long time...The market is like running across an ice skating rink in your bear feet. Its slippery and never exactly does what you expect. In other words its not so straight forward. Its one big test of your mind...So relax. If you believe it to be a good buy around here then buy it and give it some time. This is a game of patience - its not supposed to be easy.....JMHO D

No problem...I don't know why you think this way since there are several people / funds/ insiders who own a hell of a lot more than I do..But good luck to you either way...Maybe one day I will E mail you my holdings to see just how humble YOU are...D

Exactly the point..It simply is not worth it for the majority of companies to bother with unless NG stays north of a minimum of 5 and stabilizes there for a long term deal.....D

I stand corrected....I only starting investing in UPL around 2 years ago when it was in the teens....I am 54, not retired because I like my job, but I could retire as the market has been very good to me.......Yes, I did see that it did go to 100 in 08...So I apologize...I just did not look that far back in the rear view mirror...That said, realistically where do you see UPL going...I am NOT a day trader and have a lot of patience ...I am willing to wait another 1-3 years depending on various factors....? To be candid, the market in general is manipulated each and every day.. Half of all trades are now of the flash trades...That plus the wink wink info that happens almost routinely between Analysts, fund managers, and CFO's....Of course the damn thing is manipulated. Thats why its one big test of one psyche.....What will happen with AGEN? It will go back up but fast as hell so that most wont be able to get on the train.....Just another normal occurrence in a very tricky and slippery way to make money...It definitely is not easy....D

Well, no doubt that they are not going to make it easy for us...They never do...Between now and the gold they are going to test us time and time again and make it painful....Really its business as usual in the stock market...D

I would listen to Jim for an overall Macro sense of what makes the market move...However , in terms of his stock picking I think he is marginal at best........My latest example with him was BWP...He said last week not to go near it at 14....I loaded up...Now its close to 16....And I have tons of examples... I don't dislike him. I think he is somewhat educational , but not good at telling people good solid undervalued companies..JMHO D

It will likely double or even triple in 6 months to 2 years- that is if they don't take it private before .......Just ignore all the garbage that is posted on the net including all those "experts" on CNBC, Motley Fool, and seeking AlPHA....Dont let them derail you....I can't tell you how many times over the years I made that huge mistake and I have learned from it! Too many people don't have the stomach for the market....I have been at this game a long time and fortunately have done very well.....At these levels this company is a very good risk vs. reward.....The time to buy into most things is when everyone else is on the sidelines shaking with fear.. It is true that lately this so's share price has been destroyed...However, its one of those that you should be aware comes with huge risks. Its not like buying an Exxon or Att.......So with this one you buy at these levels because the downside risk is more limited. People also wont admit that it went from 3 to 5 very fast and that is a huge gain!! And then the ride down was also swift and painful...If you buy this and hang tight I believe you will be rewarded....But remember, the Elephants don't like to share with the ants and this is not an easy game..No such thing as easy money...JMHO D

Cant say I did not tell people on this board....UPL is a stock that would be in the 30's for those who ignore all the garbage posted and the huge garbage by some of the "experts" on CNBC....In fact, I see no reason why UPL can't be a $40 stock as we approach winter.... Just wait until the ports are completed...NG in this country is still dirt cheap compared to the rest of the world- inventory very low as the market is correcting this ...Mike Watford is as I have also said one of the best in the business......Just going to hold tight for next 1-2 years.....People forget that this was once a $50+ dollar stock...No , I am not suggesting we will see that level soon.. But mid 30's, sure and then I believe $40....D

Your correct...For me, ( and I have a lot of PWE), its all just noise...Wont even consider selling one share until it gets north or 15......Even then I probably will only sell in bits and pieces... I am very patient and have been and will continue to wait it out.....JMHO...D

Hey there sea dreams...Are you becoming a slight bit more comfortable? Of course XCO isn't going up in a straight line...But it is building 3 steps forward and one back...MY UPL is doing extremely well. Have a ton of it as well. Just wait until next winter and 2015-16 when the ports are completed....People are going to look back and finally figure out that Marks, Watsa, and WR are anything but stupid.....D

I am not worried. In fact just got more at 30.0.....I see it much higher in the coming months. Normal head games being played.. Very solid report....Much better than even I expected. Not trying to hype. Not my style...JMHO D

  • No hype, just wondering if any rumors about this out there with any possible confirmation at all? I own a lot of CPE and lately its exploding? D

I own a lot of PWE....I mean a lot...And I am not selling a single share until it gets to a minimum of 15. And even at that level I might decide to hold depending on market conditions...Anyway , this Management team knows what it is doing...It is a slow build and I hope it stays well under the radar for as long as possible! No hype intended.....At these levels its still vastly undervalued......JMHO D

Art.......I remember a quote from the book "lessons of history" Men who manage men only mange men who mange things, but men who manage money mange all" - at the end of the day money prevails..Too much money in this Art...I hear you but too much money , too many jobs, too much potential....JMHO D
