August 15th short interest data is available.

NEON shorts increased to 7.1 Million. Good news for longs - when deals are announced.

Wow - the bargains just keep getting better. I picked up some 2.26 cent shares.

The China news is hammering the market, but NEON's growth should be strong anyway due to their fundamental technology that has only gotten cheaper

    The plastic card

I found this on the E-Ink website:

E Ink based displays support a variety of solutions for touch. These solutions include several sensor types: resistive, inductive, capacitive or Infrared. Resistive touch responds to pressure applied to the screen and is implemented using patterned electrodes on the display. Inductive touch requires the use of stylus and is implemented with a patterned electrode array behind the display. In capacitive touch, contact creates an increase in capacitance, which is detected by a controller IC. Infrared touch responds to an object, such as a finger, to break the infrared beams over the display to detect interaction with the display.

There isn't any indicator what type of touch is used on the card although we can exclude 'inductive' since that requires a stylus. Resistive touch can wear out - so that is likely not the best option. The final question is - can you use gloves on the touch screen - which I don't know.

So much for the benefits of 'winning a Red Dot Award'. NEON price drops over 15 cents.from its already dismal share price.

I can only chock up this price drop to late August lulls in buyers before September starts. I like the number of new institutions that started a buy position in Q2. This share sale will only attract more buyers. Patience is needed this week.

I can only guess that NEON investors have been burned over too much status news that ended up fizzling out; like with the N2 phone and other multi-sense developments more than 2 years ago. The CEO is probably taking an overly cautious approach this time. As a licensing company, NEON is at the mercy of their customer product releases.

In looking at competition for future touch solutions, I found the 3M touch solutions tech that is used in Touch Wall Panels and Table tops. This is Capacitive Touch with Glass that can recognize 60 different tough points on one big display. The over 55 inch screen was over $6 grand. This type of need is very limited, so Neonode isn't competing in that market now.

What I am disappointed in is the lack of current videos that demonstrate what their technology allows people to do other than play video games.

NASDAQ reports Q2 holding of NEON shares.

Institutions Bought 2.6 Million shares and sold 2.6 million shares in Q2.
51 total institutions traded or hoding NEON shares.
15 New Institution Buying 2.3 million share vs 8 Institutions Closing Out of 68k NEON shares.

15 of 51 firms is a good ratio of new buyers vs existing buyers.

After some consideration, I have decided that I would never post my personal forecast for any stock that I care about - so NEON is out of consideration. Giving away information is not what I do unless it doesn't matter.

In any contest, I would estimate stocks that I don't care about - like SYNC. However, I am not going to do it with you because you behave so poorly.

' Price is driven my technicals, not fundamentals.'

A very funny statement of the nutty investor. Am I to assume that you mean 'by technicals'.

'come back with what you got or just pretend that you think you know. '

What does this really mean? I don't have any specific figure yet since I haven't projected that far out yet nor will I pretend I know, so both conditions are false.

All I can do is predict a number, but I won't do that against the nutty investor. Nor revealing my more accurate figures give me the advantage to make money over the next 4 months.

Make that 2 insider buys. Mr. Dahlin and Mr. Lindqvist both purchased 10,000 shares.

I would consider it a good sign when the Attorney for the first buyer decides to buy 10,000 shares himself the next day,

I like to be accurate - so I will correct my mistakes.
The quote I used from you was posted on July 16th - rather than the 15th - but the closing price was the same.

I did find two other useless posts on July 26th and July 27th about Greece and Google - which have no relevance to NEON so I don't know why you posted them here.

The last original thread that you started with your own thought stated the following:

'Current price action very positive, consolidation at 50ma on weekly chart. Weekly chart still holding higher highs and higher lows. Would be perfect to see 3 more weeks of this'

This occurred on July 15th - when the NEON share price closed at 3.14.

How good is your technical charting really? Since July 15th - the share price has crashed down to below 2.40 and has only rebounded to 2.75.

    Who is calling who 'clueless'?

All your other posts seems to be spewing your 'knowledge' as criticism on other investors threads of ideas.

You don't have a clue in your blind arrogance.

While most short sellers won't lose money on their short position, I want them to lose their profits as the stock price rises from here. Every penny rise makes me happy. Today I am delighted with NEON's trend in a bad market.

Some posters can't see the Short Position numbers on Yahoo, so I posted them here when they become available.

Q4 is only 7 weeks away. I suspect that they are waiting for a big reveal of some results in September or early October. They probably could talk to some payers in September or August, but some nice reports are coming out this fall.

Also - by October, they will have so much more data on the volume and type of data created from the samples tested since May.
