Look at ALL shipping stocks. Big moves, some short covering on the really downtrodden. Unfortunately, NAT doesn't have very much short interest, so move will be (is) more subdued.
That means he'll float more stock again, diluting it again. I don't see any other reason for another 4% drop. I have been patient and accepting of what he's doing, but now that's his ONLY management tool. He really doesn't know how to manage very well.
Yea, that was a 100 sh lot at 1618...at 1803 it was 13.70 with a lot of 7500 shs
bit of a gap up at 17.6 unfilled
You mean it has paid ONE quarterly dividend. Will it pay another? Chip makers are hurting obviously...but nothing like MHR. I wonder when criminal intent can be introduced? It obviously was for self-enrichment. Nobody else is getting (or ever will get) rich...
Sad, but true...He is doing everything in his best interest. He is a very large shareholder now (and actually has been, just larger now) and hopefully will work in our best interest. He's a lover of income from everything he has exhibited, so be prepared for the stock price to remain depressed for years. He'll buy more ships with secondary offerings, as I see it. His income stream will be quite nice because of the huge holding. He's a "me-first" kind of guy. This is a sort of ponzi-scheme. It is always looking at secondary offerings to replenish the store. I say sort of, because of the ships (depreciating asset) being involved. It's not directly taking money for subsequent redistribution. He's made some terrible purchases in the past. The most recent one was actually pretty good, though. A lot of ships will have to be replaced (look at the age of the fleet). If you've been in since the 20's, as I unfortunately have, you really have no choice but to wait for as much in dividends as you can get. There will be virtually no price appreciation...That's how Herb has structured the company. Gotta live with it.
Most reputable firms don't allow margin on "penny" stocks. I thought Blinder, Robinson went out of biz...
Sorry, it's Swanson and the prices were as low as 2.47...
I found it interesting that a Director Swenson had chosen Apr. 19, 22, 23 (24, not yet reported?) to be a seller of 15k, 18.5k and 15k shares in the 2.60 range...any insights on insider Swenson? Data per Yahoo Finance Insider Transactions...Just happens to coincide with the bad news.
How many signs do they have? Lore has it that it was over a couple of Magnum's of champagne at his friend's hunting lodge. He's doing just fine, don't feel sorry for the guy. I'm pretty sure that he does not buy shares in the company. His come for free, so it's still a long way down for him to touch bottom.
Hell, you might as well double down. Try once now and then about $1.80. From what I saw long term, it has excellent support in the .25-.35 range.
That's AWESOME!
It depends on what you consider REAL cheap. I find it a bit pricey...
I still find this post relevant. do you genie?
Of course you still have your shares. It will come back one day and there's no reason to take a loss, right?
Had to be replaced by a woman...
that's a half million a year, would you walk away? She's a woman and in the U.S. she can't be released. She's sitting pretty sweet and got the boys by the "those things." SHE'S loving it! SUCKERS!
From what they've already said, the divy is secure for the year. NMM is a MLP, so won't act necessarily like a stock should with a 12-13% yield. I doubt that we'll get above 15 even with the divy. Just enjoy the dividend and wait. The Baltic has actually been up (oh, so slightly) the last few days.
Thank you...I'm going to get rid of my last post. I found my error when searching for others. Even found the Crushers for sale at $120...
Could someone please verify or refute what I was just reading on Best Buy Reviews concerning the new product release CRUSHERS. I'm doing some research obviously on SKUL and decided to go on the Best Buy website to look at price ($74.99) and look at the reviews, expecting them to more or less mirror what I saw on the SKUL site showing that the Crushers are GREAT. To a person (almost), they all agreed on the comfort being 5 stars. When it came to everything else and overall, I was blown away at the number of 1s and 2s. I saw that the battery life for the bass component is not good, which wouldn't surprise me, but the number of reviews stating poor quality was alarming. I remember one guy saying that he thought it was a step down (something like that) for such a high quality company, so I'm curious. How many people have tried the Crushers? I'm going to check out further (Target, next), but I am a bit concerned. I didn't necessarily like the 25% price differential (as a shareholder), but expect that at a discount retailer. When I saw them for 50 bucks on eBAY I got a bit more antsy. Amazon after more reviews. This is as much a heads-up as it is a Quality Check.
