I've been trying to contact by telephone Zalicus offices. The offices are closed for business. Does anyone on this board know when they closed their doors?
A colleague of mine just pointed out the volume for the last 3 days. I almost didn't notice it. These are the same shares being traded. This is not a coincidental thing, as he related to me.
Interesting thing about Zalicus' agreement with LPC. Has anyone read the thing? They are to buy shares (up to total $25M) with the first $2M purchasing back a few months. There's quite a bit of money still at Z's disposal to purchase shares. How many could one get of the 28M outstanding?
I wanted to see what had driven this stock almost straight up. That was a good call on your part. It quit going straight up and headed straight down instead. You ever thought about being an analyst? You still have the Strong Buy indication?
Why in the world would you use your efforts to bring something down? There is value. Management is bad, but there is value in the company. What happens if/when you "bring this BS down?" How many employees do they have? Where are you Ybor City? Where are they? Let them know that you are trying to displace them. Any plans?
Actually today, Nov. 15 is the day that it is available for generic. The company loses 50% of its royalties. Corrigan has never bothered to mention it. Just like nobody mentioned that severance for Renz and Cole increased from 12 months to 18 months. Why would they do something like that?
But you and your colleagues are the only ones profiting...and handsomely. Now all that has to be assessed is if it has been truthful innocence or blatant lying and just how rico you guys are getting on this otherwise "static" research site. You've showcased your money taking abilities, not any money-making abilities wonder what would happen if this was the Post Office?
Has anyone visited the offices of Zalicus LATELY? I noticed a post about Vertex "losing" employees that are subsequently investing half their paychecks into Zalicus equity. With this kind of enthusiasm I would expect a lot of activity around the place. Anybody live in Boston?
If you notice, they are essentially the same shares trading hands now. The MMs are moving the trades in hundreths of a cent. Why on earth would they do that?
Manipulation. Merck already knew that it was bad. What does the future hold? Do you know? Corrigan, Renz and Cole have a pretty good idea. They're padding their severance packages. Not everybody got screwed.
genetz, how can he/she have a ton of shares to unload? 2003 a graduation year? We learned that 24-17-6-3=-2. Who got screwed? Are you for real? If you lost a little money, it's only because you sold at a lower price than you purchased. Why did you sell? The company should do some internal investigations regarding the announcements and apparent stock manipulation, I agree. But if the company has done nothing out of the ordinary (can they show that they are "usually" poorly managed?), it's just a matter of why did you sell?
Just read through some of the SEC filings...I wouldn't be surprised if somebody asks the FBI to look into this. Somebody mentioned lawsuits in a post. I think this has gone way past that. It is curious that the company has not issued any sort of communication regarding the apparent recent stock manipulation and managements' release of information on Monday. Someone was front running on the release? When were the sell orders placed? Renz and Cole also increased their severance packages in January for what benefit to the Company? 18 months rather than 12. Some regulatory agencies will have to look into the 17 million share day. In fact Corrigan should have immediately called for an investigation into unusual activity and what he knew about pre announcement dissemination and knowledge. Cole? Does he have duties? Is he involved in any decisions? This is serious stuff that these folks are "overseeing." They arranged a 6 for 1 reverse split. Any reason given for 6-1? The only person legally responsible to shareholders is a Chairman that is not involved in any way shape or form in the company, except being Chairman of the Board. November 15 is a special day, as well. Anyone know why?
Where'd you come up with that figure? Cummon...I do think that Options Expiration will be an interesting one.
From what I see, they can't. Ideally, now with the stock price near a take out price of less than a luxury condo in Manhattan, this could attract attention. Combined, Corrigan and Renz would save a million. A V.P. at any Pharma co. could run the operation for $150k...You get an interesting array of income (albeit currently small), patents and an ongoing operation. Insiders have no allegiance (Corrigan only acquires stock through $0. options) to the company and really is nothing more than a $30k PR guy. Renz' duties are typically performed by a Junior Acct. Cole? Hey, they like the gravy train...so would you!
