They have a lot of cash and someone wants it;
Patience makes money-the minute you sell to get that capital loss they will announce a buyout or Recap and you'll miss the Train.
I'm optimistic that their balance sheet will sell-but you don't want a "Fire Sale"-you want Value for the balance sheet. That's why they got an Advisor-the Advisor wants a good sale.
Wall Street will try to steal it!!!
Company has $ 9 in cash per share; about $7.50 net of debt; So selling for $2 is a rip off; Just be patient-someone wants that cash and should pay at least par for it or the shareholders have a case. Someone is eyeing that Cash; It's what Wall Steet does!!!!
If you look back in the past you'll see this same comment about capital gain/dividend distributions this time of year;
You can also call the company and they'll tell you!!
If you do let me know what you find out; Have a good weekend;
Usually this time of year they pay a dividend-this will come to you in either cash or reinvested additional shares and then multiply the added total and it'll come out similar. It will show in your 1099. Most Companies and mutual funds are paying dividends now to give you the 15% tax rate in case they change the rates due to Obama increased taxes. Just be patient;
They could take cash pay off debt and have enough to pay all shareholders including themselves $6.00 per share; Ton of Cash on hand-This would make sense, put the entity out of misery and be fair to the shareholders!!! Who would vote for this?? Hello Management/Board!!!
Afer a long company and industry turnaround they are starting to show some good measurements of success-it's a ways back to my cost but I've been patient; at this ffo they can raise the dividend in a qtr or two which will drive the stock price up some too!!!
What wave; it's gone nowhere sideways or down the last few months; You think the financials attract a buyer? It's only if they have some key assets in people that are worth paying and if they had those and they were in the right place it's be making money huh?? Or they just lure them away if they haven't gone yet; It's down to holding on and hoping for miracles now; Lot of shares out!
$.75 per share-market price if they were lucky;
Management should not get 1 cent after running it into the ground-if they benefit in any way then the shareholders should consider actions!!
