In the hospital where a family member lay gravely ill, the relatives gathered in the waiting room. Finally, the doctor came in looking tired and somber.

"I'm afraid I'm the bearer of bad news," he said as he surveyed the worried faces. "The only hope left for your loved one at this time is a brain transplant. It's an experimental procedure, very risky, but it is the only hope. Insurance will cover the procedure, but you will have to pay for the BRAIN."

The family members sat silent as they absorbed the news. After a time, someone asked, "How much will a brain cost?"

    The doctor quickly responded, "$5,000 for a Democrat's brain; $200 for a Republican's brain."

The moment turned awkward.. Some of the Democrats actually had to try not to smile, avoiding eye contact with the Republicans. A man unable to control his curiosity, finally blurted out the question everyone wanted to ask, "Why is the Democrat's brain so much more than a Republican's brain?"

The doctor smiled at the childish innocence and explained to the entire group, "It's just standard pricing procedure. We have to price the Republicans' brains a lot lower because they're used."

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." Henry Ford

Obama and his minions give me a huge pain in my lower posterior!

  • dowjones1234 dowjones1234 Apr 8, 2014 11:13 AM Flag

Drivel? I beg your pardon.. Obama is by far the worst President we have had in modern times. Far worse than Richard Nixon and Jimmy Carter. I really don't worry about Obama and his administration, they can be replaced. What I really worry about is the mentality, education and principles of the people that voted for and elected him. Additionally, the mentality, education and principles of those people that continue to re-elect Congressional Representatives like Reid, Pelosi, Schumer, Durbin, Boxer, Jackson-Lee, Sanders, Waters, Frankin, Leahy, Clyburn, Waxman, Rangel and others… Give me a break!!

  • Those who compare the bare-chested conqueror of the Crimea with the metrosexual ruler of the United States and find our emperor weak to the point of deserving ridicule miss the essential strength of President Obama.

It’s no ordinary weakling who can turn a once-respected country into an international joke; reduce Congress to a gaggle of sniveling sycophants; turn the world’s finest medical system into a failed third-rate socialist nightmare with a stroke of his pen; shatter our Constitution without attempted recourse by the sons and daughters of frontiersmen and pioneers whose blood was used to write that inspired document; and turn the people of our once-united states into a herd of competing minorities who, like suckling pigs, are each afraid to lose his place on the government teat should he raise his voice to protest the ruin of our country.

So don’t denigrate the nonentity ruler who has overcome his uncertain ancestry and ludicrous incompetence to do what no other king of dictator has been able to do in our 237-year history: He has destroyed America.

  • America is capitalist and greedy, yet half of the population is subsidized.

Half of the population is subsidized, yet they think they are victims.

They think they are victims, yet their representatives run the government.

The poor keep getting poorer, yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.

They have things that people in other countries only dream about, yet they want America to be more like those other countries.

Here is what happened on January 1st 2014:  In case you didn’t notice....

Top Income tax bracket went from 35% to 39.6%
Top Income payroll tax went from 37.4% to 52.2%
Capital Gains tax went from 15% to 28%
Dividends tax went from 15% to 39.6%
Estate tax went from 0% to 55%

    Remember this fact:

If you have money, the democrats want it. Cutbacks Include military, social security and medicare. But not one cent less for entitlements.

These  taxes were all passed under the "AFFORDABLE" health care act, otherwise known as "ObamaCare."

    Remember this coming November!

  • Ukraine buys almost all its energy (natural gas) from Russia. Revenues from natural gas sales are a primary source of income for Russia.

Because of the recent disagreement between Ukraine and Russia, Russia is raising the price of natural gas it sells to The Ukraine.

The Ukraine is almost broke and can't afford the increase in the natural gas price because it would be forced into bankruptcy.

President Obama (The USA) just announced the United States is giving The Ukraine, $1 billion to assist in paying for the higher priced natural gas it buys from Russia.

So, the United States is actually giving Russia $1 billion because the money is just passing through The Ukraine.

    The first question:

Has Vladimir Putin figured out a way to raise the price of his natural gas sales and make the U.S. pay for the increase?

    Next question:

Was he really in the KGB or was he a commodities trader? If this analysis is accurate, Vladimir Putin just got Barack Obama (the USA) to pay him $1 billion by holding a press conference and trucking some troops cross town from the Russian Navy base in Ukraine.

Who is the Smartest guy in the room now?

Oh Yes… Remember - “I’ll have more flexibility after I am reelected.”

Yikes…. You can't make this stuff up!

You can’t make this stuff up!!!!

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.

    Obama’s Version:
Give a man a welfare check, a free cell phone, free internet, cash for his clunker, food stamps, section 8 housing, free contraceptives, Medicaid, ninety-nine weeks of unemployment, free medicine, and he will vote Democrat the rest of his life even after he’s dead.

    Tell me it’s not true!

Sorry to say that in the levity of the joke there is a more important and real life lesson that is now on the front door step of every tax paying US citizen and hard working American. Let's fix this problem during the next election cycle starting this coming November!

The fourth-grade teacher asked the children what their fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came up: fireman, mechanic, businessman, salesman, and so forth.
However, little Justin was being uncharacteristically quiet, so when the teacher prodded him about his father, he replied, "My father's an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret and takes off all his clothes to music in front of  other men and they put money in his underwear. Sometimes, if the offer is really good, he will go home with some guy and stay with him all night for money."
The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the other children to work on some other exercises and took little Justin aside to ask him, "is that really true about your father?" "No," the boy said, "He works for the Democratic  National Committee and helped to get Obama elected, but it's too embarrassing to say that in front of the other kids."

  • Paul David Alinsky (January 30, 1909 - June 12, 1972) was an American community organizer and writer.
He is generally considered to be the founder of modern community organizing. He is often noted for his book Rules for Radicals.

“There are 8 levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a socialist/communist state. The first is the most important.”

      1) Healthcare: "Control healthcare and you control the people”

      2) Poverty: “Increase the Poverty level as high as possible." Poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.

      3) Debt: “Increase the national debt to an unsustainable level." That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.

      4) Gun Control: “Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government." That way you are able to create a police state - total local control.

      5) Welfare: “Take control of every aspect of their lives" (Food, Livestock, Housing, and Income)

      6) Education: “Take control of what people read and listen to take control of what children learn in school.”

      7) Religion: “Remove faith in God from the Government and school.”

Class Warfare: Divide the people into the wealthy against the poor. Racially divide.

This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to Tax the wealthy with full support of the voting poor.

There are lots of folks feeling my pain, more and more as the days go by. Big changes are coming in about 9 months. After November, I will start down the road toward happiness and looking forward to 2016 when I should achieve the happiness that the majority of Americans are looking for.

The smoking gun to tie the Obama White House to the IRS scandal is to have Congress ask Lois Lerner and other IRS officials about the targeting of individual critics of Obama... good Americans with names and faces and families... who they tried to destroy. This story should resonate with the American people. This story should lead to the impeachment of the President.

The second of Nixon’s Articles of Impeachment was for the crime of using the IRS to punish his political opponents. The difference is that Barack Obama’s IRS scandal makes Richard Nixon look like a minor league rookie.

Because, by and large, income variations in society are a result of different choices leading to different consequences. Those who choose wisely and responsible have a far greater likelihood of success, while those who choose foolishly and irresponsibly have a far greater likelihood of failure. Success and failure usually manifest themselves in personal and family income.

You choose to drop out of high school or to skip college - and you are apt to have a different outcome than someone who gets a diploma and pushes on with purposeful education.

You have your children out of wedlock and life is apt to take one course; you have them within a marriage and life is apt to take another course.

Most often in life our destination is determined by the course we take.

My doctor, for example, makes far more than I do. There is significant income inequality between us. Our lives have had an inequality of outcome, but our lives have also had an inequality of effort. While my doctor went to college and then devoted his young adulthood to medical school and residency, I got a job in a restaurant.

He made a choice, I made a choice, and our choices led us to different outcomes. His outcome pays a lot better than mine.

Does that mean he cheated and Barack Obama needs to take away his wealth? No, it means we are both free men in a free society where free choices lead to different outcomes.

It is not inequality Barack Obama intends to take away, it is freedom. The freedom to succeed and the freedom to fail.
There is no true option for success if there is no true option for failure.

The pursuit of happiness means a whole lot less when you face the punitive hand of government if your pursuit brings you more happiness than the other guy.

Even if the other guy sat on his #$%$ and did nothing. Even if the other guy made a lifetime's worth of asinine and shortsighted decisions.

Barack Obama and the Democrats preach equality of outcome as a right, while completely ignoring inequality of effort.

The simple Law of the Harvest - as ye sow, so shall ye reap - is sometimes applied as, "The harder you work, the more you get." Obama would turn that upside down. Those who achieve are to be punished as enemies of society and those who fail are to be rewarded as wards of society.

Entitlement will replace effort as the key to upward mobility in American society if Barack Obama gets his way. He seeks a lowest common denominator society in which the government besieges the successful and productive to foster equality through mediocrity.

He and his party speak of two Americas, and their grip on power is based on using the votes of one to sap the productivity of the other. America is not divided by the differences in our outcomes; it is divided by the differences in our efforts. It is a false philosophy to say one man's success comes about unavoidably as the result of another man's victimization.

What Obama offered was not a solution, but separatism. He fomented division and strife, pitted one set of Americans against another for his own political benefit. That's what socialists offer. Marxist class warfare wrapped up with a bow.

Two Americas, coming closer each day to proving the truth to Lincoln's maxim that a house divided against itself cannot stand.

In early January 2014, Bob Lonsberry, a Rochester talk radio personality on WHAM 1180 AM, said this in response to Obama's "income inequality speech":

The Democrats are right, there are two Americas.

    The America that works and the America that doesn't;
the America that contributes and the America that doesn't.

It's not the haves and the have nots, it's the dos and the don'ts. Some people do their duty as Americans, obey the law, support themselves, contribute to society, and others don't. That's the divide in America.

It's not about income inequality, it's about civic irresponsibility.

It's about a political party that preaches hatred, greed, and victimization in order to win elective office.

It's about a political party that loves power more than it loves its country. That's not invective, that's truth, and it's about time someone said it.

The politics of envy was on proud display a couple weeks ago when President Obama pledged the rest of his term to fighting "income inequality." He noted that some people make more than other people, that some people have higher incomes than others, and he says that's not just.

That is the rationale of thievery. The other guy has it, you want it, and Obama will take it for you. Vote Democrat.

That is the philosophy that produced Detroit. It is the electoral philosophy that is destroying America.

It conceals a fundamental deviation from American values and common sense because it ends up not benefiting the people who support it, but a betrayal.

The Democrats have not empowered their followers; they have enslaved them in a culture of dependence and entitlement, of victimhood and anger instead of ability and hope.

The president's premise - that you reduce income inequality by debasing the successful - he seeks to deny the successful the consequences of their choices and spare the unsuccessful the consequences of their choices.

    A Wake Up Call:

Telephone Federal, State and Local Surcharge Tax, Telephone Minimum Usage Surcharge Tax, Telephone Recurring and Non-recurring Charges Tax, Telephone State and Local Tax, Telephone Usage Charge Tax, Utility Tax, Vehicle License Registration Tax, Vehicle Sales Tax, Watercraft Registration Tax, Well Permit Tax, Workers Compensation Tax, (And to think, we left British Rule to avoid so many taxes)

    STILL THINK THIS IS FUNNY?

Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, our nation was the most prosperous in the world, the U.S. had absolutely no national debt, the U.S had the largest middle class in the world and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.

What happened? Can you spell “Politicians!” And, we still have to Press “1” for English.

This is too true to be funny.

The next time you hear a politician use the word “billion” in a casual manner, think about whether you want the politicians' spending YOUR tax money.

A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in one of its releases.

A billion seconds ago, the year was 1959.
A billion minutes ago, Jesus was alive.
A billion hours ago, our ancestors were living in the Stone Age.
A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet.
A billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes, at the rate our government and politicians are spending it.

While this thought is still fresh in our brain, let's take a look at New Orleans. It's amazing what you can learn with some simple division. Louisiana Senator, Mary Landrieu(D) was asking Congress for 250 BILLION DOLLARS to rebuild New Orleans. Interesting number...

    What does it mean?
Well, If you are one of the 369,250 residents of New Orleans (every man, woman and child) each would receive $677,048.00 Or, If you have one of the 188,251 homes in New Orleans, your home would receive $1,329,787. Or, if you are a family of four each family would receive $2,066,012.

Hello Washington, D.C are all your calculators broken?
