I agree with many of your points, this drug took too long, but I am not blaming anyone. They bumped up against the 2008 meltdown, their product was of limited interest to big pharma because of competing developments. The Teva deal was not perceived well, but that judgment will be made down the road. The slow accretion in pps leading to the decision is not unprecedented since MDVN and ISIS did the same. Witness the subsequent exuberance after approval.
But in my view, a positive result will validate the pipeline and hurl 427 into the limelight, a drug 100% owned and ready for action in six indicators. We may be seeing the irrationality of the market now in ignoring OGXI, but the irrationality of the market will benefit us upon approval of 011. Possible range: $3 to north of $100.
The revelations that are most pertinent for me have occurred in a mixed Raki - Swedish massage session, usually when the weather outside approximates 25 C, and my massage therapist is Norwegian (preferably Danish) in her appearance. I think God likes the Nordic people. They certainly kicked butt in the Winter Olympics.
In my limited experience, God seems preoccupied with my many failings as a human being. As you say, great details are provided. Much like my wife, but God says it more succinctly and in a kinder, gentler way. He has expressly referred to certain rules to follow (10 of them I think) but I have no recollection of this Feuerstein-Ratain rule. Perhaps He hopes I remain poor. If that is my fate, I will accept it. I just won't be able to get anymore of those great massages.
good analysis. Safety profile of 011 has never been a risk, so that would certainly raise concerns. 427 is the super drug here, but the dilution that would go on would hurt us badly.
Alternatively, think of 011 success and 427 owned and commercialized by OGXI.
Duncecap, I don't have positive view if there is a failure. Will TEVA continue with O11 in lung? Dilution will be severe on 427. I say 3-4 bucks
If positive, well north of 100.
the market cap is approximately 160 ml. it is the upside upon favourable result that justifies the risk in this position, at least in my view.
Maybe we can fantasize this will happen to us too…6 bl market cap….almost as good as fantasy of Canada beating US in men and women hockey two days straight in Olympics….wait that did happen.
thanks Summer, I will continue to check. I am nervous, I wish i had your statistical analysis and ability to predict. I believe we are close on this, but I have faith. Stephen
I saw the sites that were selected around the globe and they are top notch. In Ontario, the cancer centre at McMaster University was one of the primary sites. That's just down the hill from me. World class cancer centre.
You ask an interesting question, and when I saw the sites, my first reaction is how positive it is that more patients can be enrolled world wide due to the emerging global economy and access to health care. Access to medical care is so important, at least in Canada it has been for a century. But also, on a commercial level, that means an expanding market.
If you don't mind me saying this, in Canada (and in Western Europe and the Commonwealth), we ask how America can have 32 million people uninsured without access to the same type of medical care that so many Americans are fortunate to have….really, the best in the world. So maybe the question is: are Americans able to go to the testing sites? Are they sicker?
I state this only because the level of conversation on this board is at such a high level, that I am sure you will be very polite in telling me to mind my own business. But as far as OGXI teasing sites go, the study will be unaffected by the location of the sites.
thanks, we are in Kenya. But we will be drinking South African wine. Looking forward to it, especially the nature. and the heat, this Canadian winter is awful.
Hi commonsense, I think they will release results on the earliest occasion, and will not tie them to any sort of event like ASCO.
OGXI announced today that the pre-specified number of events required for final analysis of Phase 3 Synergy has been reached. "Our teams are working diligently in order to announce survival results as soon as they are available, and we sincerely appreciate the support of the investigators and most importantly, the men and their families who participated in this important trial." That quote is from Cormack.
I share your view. Sprained my ankle slipping on ice, snowbanks like from the old days, minus 35C. But lets look at the bright side…OGXI finally moving up like the old days. Big volume today and hitting 12.50. The tests will be released sooner than we think that's why the move is happening.
any time box. I am going on safari in Africa in last half of March, it will happen then, when I am out of touch and trying to outsmart a cheetah.
