Made my day bagholderzunite. Me too, but I liked his applications to social philosophy and how it was used by jurisprudence to explain law.
Lets hope 011 makes it and we will have more time to read philosophy.
Summer, Stifel may not be accurate reporting on the new reality. It is premature to state that the chemo-space is overcrowded. The landscape hasn't changed. In my view, the issue remains the same: what is the percentage of chance for success of 011 in Ph. III? Here we are all gamblers.
Stifel …increased risk premium for P3 custirsen data due to increasing difficulty of demonstrating statistically significant OS benefit in an indication where an increasingly number of active post chemo treatment options are now available.
Meanwhile Blair assigns 65% probability of success to SYNERGY
Needham says conviction remains high for positive data
Cohn Brothers: 100% chance of another oscar.
Oh that's the Big Lebowsky. in case you are wondering about the pee on the carpet reference. but I think you get it Summer, if I remember you're from California. Good luck, we need it over the next six months. Stephen
Hi Summer, I am engaged in some out of town work for a bit, but will ask for the report and let you know. As you might guess, while I am not selling anything, this stock is becoming a pain in the …. I find myself resorting to the philosophy of the Dude, the principle of non-action. I hardly watch the daily action or care about it. But if anyone pees on my carpet, things will change. Stephen
No, I am sorry for the confusion. I agree that Darkster has many aliases on this board. Same ones on Isis. I will attempt to obey the principle of not feeding trolls, but unfortunately even at my age I have never learned to shut up.
Napoleon said it best "when your enemy is making a mistake, it is best to shut up" (except he said it in French and probably crisper than that.
Good luck to all of us....we need it.
Ubuy, who is one of darksters nome d plumes? You aren't referring to Boxster? Box is a savy investor and has the good fortune of having Alberta blood in him.
In any event, I'd communicate with the Devil right now about OGXI, he knows as much as anyone else as to what is going on here.
Hi Box, I was in Alberta last weekend for work. Went to Banff then Lake Louise. Saw a female grizzly by the Bow Valley Parkway. Amazing. Thank God my 13 year old daughter had her IPhone with her....we got lots of pictures.
OGXI is rather grizzly these days. 011 is either going to be approved or not. Nothing else we can do now.
Good luck to all.
Hi Dark, it is Sunday so I feel like I am in confession. I hope you are well and still commenting on ISIS. Remember what Neitzsche said, "the master can become the slave through obsession" . Neitzsche may have said it better, but after all he is German and a dedicated philosopher, while I am Canadian and try to think as little as possible.
I sold Isis at $15 because I wanted to take some profits. My investment in OGXI is enough to tighten up one's ba**s (and I don't mean bass which are quite active on the river I fish in Southern Ontario). No judgment on ISIS; just confidence in ASO drugs and that OGXI will make it.
Enjoy the rest of the summer Dark.
Yes kgrichard profits are always good.
And Jetman is a great and modest person to live vicariously through. Everytime I come back to see the price action here, I feel good for him. He knows the product line and its potential.
I see Box on OGXI board saying the market cap could go to 10 bl. I'd get back in but I need to brace for what will happen to OGXI this year. Just like now I say "I remember when ISIS was at $6", maybe next summer I'll be saying "I remember when OGXI sucked at 9.20 last summer".
And I pray to God that Dark will mock OGXI as he does ISIS. then I will know for sure that iOGXI has succeeded.
Hi Box, I remember you told me you had relatives in Alberta. Yes I am a lawyer. And unless OGXI hits the mark, I will be practising for many more years to come. I wish I hadn't sold ISIS. unbelievable success and I remember it at six bucks last summer. Maybe we'll be saying that next summer about OGXI….I remember it at 9.20.
actually I don't believe Dark…but what is wrong with beachfront in Florida? This year I visited Boca Grand Island, and truly one of the most wonderful spots in North America.
I wouldn't take Dark so seriously, he is having fun making fun of people who have made alot of money lately. I am sorry I sold at $15, but one has to book some profits.
Good luck everyone here. This is a great company.
Howard, that's because we bill according to what we read……if we billed according to our contribution, I'd be dirt poor. Talk soon. Hope we keep seeing this price action going up.
if company announces positive new on 011s, there is no reason why it should go up, based on ISIS. if FDA approves, no reason to go up. when does it go up? when the market is convinced the drug will be a revenue generator. when does that happen? who knows. I just wish this company goes up like ISIS. I can handle a 3.5 bl market cap.
For the next year, I will read Zen books and relax. Anyone read the book by Bridges about the Dude in the Big Lebowski. Principle of non action. Like OGXI for now.
So much for now.
feel like a mule….that way yahoo finance won't censure me.
I sold ISIS in the 15.00s; feel like an #$%$ now. however, who could have predicted the performance after 6 months it was approved.
Hi Howard. Hope all is well. If I wasn't into this stock to the extent that I am into it, I would buy more. But now I am sitting tight, worried about one event. 011 passing. 50/50 or 60/40 or 40/60. apart from that, all seems well. nice first day of summer. talk soon.
It is ASCO this weekend. should be interesting to hear about 427. Although it is all about 011 now. getting close to the finish line. 50/50 chance this little stock crosses the line.
Hi Summer, I truly am amazed by your statistical knowledge. I couldn't do math after grade 12. Maybe that's why I practice law. Certainty is illusive. However, I do have a joke about math.
There was an old Scottish teacher Mrs. Ferguson. She asked Johnny her less than stellar student in grade 4: "Johnny if there were 10 sheep in the paddock, and 1 got out through a hole in the fence, how many sheep would be left in the paddock?"
Johnny yelled out "none".
Mrs. Ferguson calmly replied "Johnny, you don't know math, 10 minus 1 is 9. There'd be 9 sheep in the paddock".
Johnny saw his chance. He demurely stated "Teacher, you don't know sheep. Where one goes, they all go. There'll be none left in the paddock "
Math. Don't beat real life.
RBC issued a report today . Price target at $19.00. Raised from $17. Acknowledges O11 completes last futility test. Test results announced 1st half 2014.
Enjoy the summer, Summer. We may be in the horse duldrums now, but in the Fall, things will get exciting.
