ca_fisherman, go to the SLXP board and check out he headlines. Look under the one on Dec 16th from business wire, entitled "Salix Pharmaceuticals provides updates on wholesale inventory reductions…." and you will find it. Early on it states that Relistor prescription demand was up 31% in Oct 2014 as compared to Oct 2013. Later in the article SLXP projects a 67% increase in year over year Relistor sales in 2015 over 2014. Further down they state they project a 16% increase in 2016 over 2015. We will have to wait until the final sales numbers are given for 2014 to get a feel for what these projections are in absolute dollar terms, but it is moving in the right direction.
ca_fisherman, I saw that SLXP projected Relistor sales to increase by more than 60% in 2015 and then 16% more in 2016. I assume the latter is because they are being conservative and not factoring in possible effects of Relistor Oral formulation approval.
Thank you ca_fisherman. Merry Christmas to you as well. Seeing PGNX reach a 52 week high is a nice early Christmas present for both of us! I was thinking of staying in CA for the holiday but decided at the last minute to go back east. How about you?
Janet, that is how a bitter short reacts after being crushed. In my view it is pretty funny to see.
It isn't realistic to expect SNTA to be able to make a deal, or perhaps, make a deal good terms for SNTA without any clinical data on the HSP90i conjugates.
I will feel better once the HSP90i conjugates get into trials. Until then, it is just a concept with pre-clinical support so isn't worth much. For what it is worth, I couldn't resist the latest price drop so bought some more SNTA.
Oh my God, PGNX might not finish at its high for the day again, but will still end the day higher. Will the horror ever end?
guttman, Most people would be ashamed to spread such ignorant comments as "Most treatments are more painful than the disease." and "It is sad how drug companies prey on the emotions of dying people and their families for profit." What is wrong with you?
Someone needs to tell him he has been holding the PGNX price chart upside down. The someone would then have to explain to him that the move from the mid $3s to over $7 is a price RISE, not a price decline as he has been spouting continually during that rise.
Let's get all the troll's comments in in one post. PGNX will never break $4, watch and learn. PGNX will never hold $4, watch and learn. PGNX will never break $5, watch and learn. PGNX will never hold $5, watch and learn. PGNX will never break $6, watch and learn. PGNX will never hold $6, watch and learn. PGNX will never break $7, watch and learn. PGNX will never hold $7, watch and learn. The high is in for the day, watch and learn. PGNX will close lower, watch and learn.
Now for furute prediconts. PGNX will never break $8, watch and learn. PGNX will never hold $8, watch and learn. PGNX will never break $9, watch and learn. PGNX will never hold $9, watch and learn. PGNX will never break $10, watch and learn. PGNX will never hold $10, watch and learn. Followed by oh, mommy, how did I lose so much money!!!
Fast Track is nothing to get very excited about. Breakthrough designation is the one that investors hope for. I can't tell you anything about the December FDA meeting.
I guess you have trouble reading. When I mentioned SNTA was above his prediction, he said it didn't matter as Jan 1 was the key date. I am just holding him to the standard he put forth. I can play the same game. SNTA will be between in the $4-$5 range by Jan 1st 2016, maybe even higher. Then at any point if it goes above, I will claim victory. In any event, such short term price movements as to where SNTA will be Jan 1st is irrelevant to me.
