The paradox about Gold in the open marketplace is that as prices drop, demand rises again.
This thing is a low frequency teeter-totter. It's a parachute wafting and falling on the up and down drafts of the economy. Hang in there. Look at the historic charts. When you buy, pick a "sell price" and then move on...
Buy Low (now), and sell when its up to your above your target "sell' price.
Gold is not a short term prop bet.
Has anybody heard Bonus percentage rumors for 2012?
Perhaps there will be official relaease on Monday 1/28, or shortly thereafter.
It seams strange to me that this event is coming even before they have a contract settlement w/ CWA in the West...
iphone may be most stylish but is not the best phone, asfor oyour overhyped network prepare for immediate shocks to the system.
Yeah I own that POC iphone 3G,and my next upgrade which cannot happen soon enough will be a Droid, maybe even a Windows Phone if they can improve it to the level of Droids
Did management call the SEC yet?
Thought Not! Can you spell "colusion"?
Maybe somebody is trying to squelch Vodaphone's 45% value in an effort to bring down their asking price for the buyout...
Why can't you see if at&t offers U-verse and HSIA, amybe that is Verizons problem in your new neighborhood?
VZ down $.40 forthe day show that you are the dim bulb in the dark room.

We are amassing free capital to buy something any speculation?
In the last 4-5 months:
* ATT sold interest in Tech Mahindra
* ATT sold Sterling Commerce (albeit at a loss from the purchase price 10 years ago).
* ATT sold data interests in Japan
* ATT sold Wayport International operations while retaining US ops.
* ATT just floated 2.25B in debt from Deutche bank.
SOooo the question is what are they going to do with the cash? What are they buying?
Your at&t rant was false, and if you believe everything you find on GOOgle you have a seriously low brain cell count.
Also, I have a bridge I would like to sell you along with some prime swampland in Florida.
- FiOS is stagnant, dormant, too expensive.
- Your company doesn't advertise out of it's traditional core wireline market areas much anymore, because AT&T slapped you back hard about the shortcomings of the VZ network.
- Your VZ network is slow and one dimensional, primarily voice without a big investment in a data backbone.
- Vodaphone is yanking your management chain, to contain costs.
- Avoid the 'droid, because even though people don't like MSoft, they actually hate Google, and only use it as the "listing" point... Who actually uses "Google" as a their "Homepage"? Give me Yahoo or give me something better!
Yes I hold AT&T and we have problems too; but really look at your own business and figure it out... VZ is lame, and moribund. No creativity just bluster and half-true advertising about your Network. Jokes on you for eating VZ's own moldy baloney...
Yeah but you heard it from drank2that 1st
AT&T should buy xm-sirius soon before someone else does. Its nearly bankrupt now, but this product fits nicely with our lineup of mobile services and and u-verse. We could get rid of URGE on U-verse, which is a pretty sparse linup, sell subscriptions for future mobile devices/phones/dataports, and sell online subscriptions , workplace subscriptions, dish and direct TV subscription tie-ins as well, or any combination...
Smartphones that catch the Satellite, should easily be a Huge market for News Sports, weather, music and entertainment 'casts in the future...
This would keep our sales reps a little busier and we could Not possible provide worse customer service than they have now... This company has fewer than 4,000 employees they are ripe to be plucked up by T and then shrunk and made profitable finally.
Right, so buy it back UP, I am.
"T" is #3 in the "Top 5 All-Around Value Stocks" at The Steet.com Inc.
Looks like a super 4th quarter for T if a substantial number of thos millions of visits resulted in sales of iPhones w/ activation plans and/or sales of U-Verse on Black Friday and following Cyber Monday!
