    Questions for the MILL board

    by deanmortensen Dec 13, 2014 3:35 PM drillingsolutions Dec 15, 2014 11:38 AM Flag

Why did so many things go awry? RU-9, Olsen#2, etc?::

Because like all oil Companies, Mill Drilled their better prospects first. Regardless of what MILL has told you, they drilled the wells that had the bester chances of success first... They are moving lower & lower down the list now...

For those that believe the price of oil

OPEC Nations are all sitting pretty @ $60/BBL Oil. Hell, they are turning generous profits at $15/BBL Oil because their reserves can be accessed so cheap in comparison to ours... Knowing that the Opec Nations & Russia have been financing the anti-fracking environmentalists movements, I would imagine that the smarter OPEC members see $60/BBL oil as a very welcome turn of events to curb US production increases, which have gotten out of hand...

It never ce#$%$ses to #$%$m#$%$ze me there there is so much "dumb money" re#$%$dily #$%$v#$%$il#$%$ble out there... By 'dumb money' I me#$%$n investment c#$%$pit#$%$l controlled by people who do not re#$%$lly underst#$%$nd w#$%$ll-street, the m#$%$rkets, or the p#$%$rticul#$%$r industry th#$%$t they #$%$re investing in. IFNY, would be v#$%$lued #$%$t less th#$%$n $0.10/sh#$%$re if not for 'dumb money'. To IFNY's credit, this w#$%$s not their initi#$%$l business str#$%$tegy, but it is #$%$ll th#$%$t is left #$%$fter NBL drilled their dry-hole & IFNY's 3D-Seismic shoot c#$%$me up empty h#$%$nded.

Remote concessions such #$%$s this require incredibly huge prospects in order to w#$%$rr#$%$nt explor#$%$tion due to the high cost #$%$ssoci#$%$ted with building infr#$%$structure, pipelines, pl#$%$tforms, docks, #$%$nd support services. If IFNY's Seismic D#$%$t#$%$ suggested th#$%$t #$%$ gi#$%$nt prospect w#$%$s present, then there would #$%$lre#$%$dy be #$%$ de#$%$l in pl#$%$ce & we would #$%$lre#$%$dy know #$%$bout it. IFNY w#$%$s #$%$ gre#$%$t pl#$%$y up until the point th#$%$t NBL #$%$nnounced they h#$%$d drilled #$%$ dry-hole on the #$%$dj#$%$cent concession. The w#$%$y the Oil & G#$%$s Industry works, it will be #$%$ dec#$%$de or two #$%$t the le#$%$st before #$%$nother oper#$%$tor brings #$%$ rig into the #$%$re#$%$ of IFNY's Concession.

This 'elevator' #$%$ ever that means) just delivered you with a healthy dose of reality...

I love the way that you don't challenge the contents of my post & instead revert to calling them 'silly'... The only thing silly around here is the rate at which you brokerage account is in decline because you are sitting on a pile of IFNY shares... Shares that are still WAY overvalued & have a long way to fall...

Jeff Roberts has a 1% over-riding royalty on any production that is established within the concession... No wonder he's a believer in the play, No wonder he has put together a plan to keep the concession alive.

Look people, dozens of large scale & Major Oil & Gas Companies have visited IFNY's data room. They have analyzed the data, made their calculations, and they all concluded that the risk/reward ratio for IFNY's concession was too high.

Are you suggesting that we should follow this geologist with conflicting interest when dozens of real oil companies have already closed the door in IFNY's face?

IFNY is not capable of drilling their own offshore oil well, and in the unlikely event that a real Operating Partner is lured in, IFNY will be pushed out of the decision making interest all together. There is not enough working interest to go around. IFNY was too liberal with the W.I. Handouts from the start...

No one is capable of drilling in 2015...

It's sad, but all that is left here are bag-holders, praying for one last pump so they dump their shares on the next sucker...

    IFNY down on news

    by shoedini Oct 21, 2014 3:46 PM drillingsolutions Oct 22, 2014 2:49 PM Flag

What did they give to the Seismic Company? I seem to recall 20% working interest, but It seems like they would have wanted an over-riding royalty... Anyway here's the approximate/estimated interest division:

    - Seismic Company :: 20% Working Interest (though this should be double checked)
    - Granada :: 30% + 20% = 50% Working Interest
    - Operating Partner (Yet to be lured in) :: 30% Working Interest
    - IFNY :: 0% working Interest, but they have no money anyway so we knew this would happen

The PR indicates that 100% Working Interest = 80% Net Revenue Interest. This leaves 20% Net Revenue Interest (1% NRI = 1% Over-riding Royalty) for the Government of Nicaragua, The Native People of the area (or some special clause that I cannot recall the specifics of in the Concession), and the Geologists who is getting 1% (there may be more than one such geologists)... One would have to look back at the terms of the concession to figure out exactly what is left for IFNY... But it ain't going to be much...

This can't possibly be drilled in 2015 as the suggest, and there is literally a 97.5% chance that it is not drilled in the next 10 years, if ever. With no infrastructure in the area, they will have to convince someone that there is a lot of oil down there in order for it to be potentially profitable. If it looked like there was a lot of oil, it would have been scooped up years ago...

This PR should let you know that this dream is nearing an end...

You Guys/Girls should be buying GDP... Take a close look at their weekly chart over the past 2 years, and note the repeating pattern. Buying on the lows of the last two cycles, GDP would have doubled your money in about 90 days... Well, it is time to buy in for the 3rd cycle... Buy today @ $11.00/share & sell in 3-4 months for $33/share... It's that simple...
