    And the other shoe drops:

If none of the candidate Ebolacie compounds is going to work - they'll know after the cell-culture assays. Those should take less than a month once they actually get started.

Full animal testing might take until April/May - if something looks promising.

We were never going to get answers to 'The Ebolacide questions' from Indiana.

BASi is doing the Toxicity testing for Flucide - and BASi's facilities are in Indiana. They were never going to be working with Ebolacide as their facility is not set up for that.

The CRADA with USAMRIID (an Army-run BSL-4 facility) was to work with Ebolacide - and they are located at Ft. Detrick in Frederick, MD.

And NNVC did just send samples of anit-Ebola candidate compounds to the Army site,.... in Maryland.

If we get timely answers on Ebolacide - it's be from a facility in MD.

WEST HAVEN, Conn., Jan. 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- NanoViricides, Inc. (NYSE MKT: NNVC) (the "Company"), a nanomedicine company developing anti-viral drugs, reported a good safety profile of an optimized FluCide® drug candidate in a GLP-like toxicology study in rats. These results are extremely important since they indicate that FluCide continues to look very promising as one of the most advanced candidates in the Company's drug development pipeline.

No direct adverse clinical effects were found upon administration of the FluCide candidate intravenously at doses of up to 300mg/kg/day for 14 days (a total of 4,200mg/kg) in rats. Organs were examined for gross histological observations. Microscopic histological tissue analysis was also performed. There were no adverse histological findings in gross organ level histological examination, nor were there any adverse findings in microscopic histological analysis. Equally importantly, there were no meaningful effects observed on animal weight gain, food consumption, hematology, or clinical chemistry at the end of the 14 day dosing period.

The study was conducted at BASi (Bioanalytical Systems, Inc., NASDAQ: BASI) in Evansville, Indiana. The study was performed in a cGLP-like fashion, compliant with BASi Evansville standard operating procedures. BASi has over 40 years of experience providing contract research services and niche instrumentation to the life sciences, primarily drug research and development.

Misdirection,.... one of the most common tactics in propaganda,..... and doesn't reflect well on those that use it when they overuse that tactic directing it at an non-naive audience.

  • We all get an 'extra' day this weekend to speculate (or bloviate) about what might be PR-ed this week for NNVC. I only really expect to hear 1 of 2 things: Other things could get announced that I am not currently anticipating.

    1) Some information or a summary of results to date with the work done for Flucide TOX testing by BASi and maybe an indication of when the 2nd half of their work is expected to commence.

    2) A timeline for Ebolacide2 testing to commence at USAMRID labs - ideally an announcement that materials will be shipped by a specific, specified date.

Other than outright blather or ridicule with terms like "B-S!",.... any thoughts?

Exactly why I maintain a 'strong presence' on that board. I and a few others are much more stubborn than I suspect were their previous opposition.

Sounds like that shoe could be made to fit: One Online Definition:

"Tortious interference, also known as intentional interference with contractual relations, in the common law of torts, occurs when a person intentionally damages the plaintiff's contractual or other business relationships. This tort is broadly divided into two categories, one specific to contractual relationships (irrespective of whether they involve business), and the other specific to business relationships or activities (irrespective of whether they involve a contract)."

The second half of that sure sounds like something a decent lawyer could make stick.

They appear to be somewhat less obvious at present,.... but they are definately back.

No matter,... their time in the 'sun' is just about over IMO and suspect they should consider closing out any short positions they have taken to mitigate their loss potential.

Didn't save a copy and when the thread got deleted the response went with it into the 'ether'

But particularly - those who are interested in comparing that PT Seeking Alpha drivel to reality should just take a look at one of the sets of lynchpins to that article's critique.

What happened to the legal action by the insider who is one of the foci of that article? That suit got dismissed and settled with and is done and over. Corporate governance issues that were the primary reason for the suit were addressed to the satisfaction of the plaintiff - so bye-bye suit.

And the rest of the arguments made are primarily innuendo,....

I have considered several points they have made,.... The only points that they have made that have some merit appear to be ones that the management has now fixed. End of story IMO.

If they are right (and yes - things could still go wrong with NNVC),... it'll be the same kind of action as a broken clock being right 2x a day. 1x on Military time.

I'm not trying to 'control' anything dude,.... I'm trying to cut down on nearly worthless (because they are so amazingly repetitive), off topic, clearly revenge-motivated, and pointless anonymous posts. They do almost nothing to add to conversation or useful exchange of information.

If the attempt is to 'shame' the target,.... that only works if the target is capable of feeling 'shame'.

If the attempt is to 'bully' the target,.... that only works if the target is can be made to feel fear and be intimidated.

If some legal recourse is the goal,.... you can't do that here.

You don't like it,.... do what I did. Put me on Ignore.

Not to deflate your balloon or upset your theory,.... but that one was deleted by the iHub Administrators (not one of the Moderators) as "Off Topic" - and is a fairly obvious TOS violation as it directly questions a poster, rather than being about the stock, the company, or one of its officers.

Don't get me wrong - I tend to agree with the sentiment,.... but that's exactly the sort of post that the Administrators will take out even if one of the Moderators doesn't get to it first.

A total of 4 messages from yesterday were deleted. Two by the Admins. Two by NewMoney. And at leat one of the two deleted by NewMoney would have likely been tagged by the Admins as a TOS violation if he hadn't taken it out first.

I wouldn't rule them out as 'gone' completely yet. But it has been happily quiet there the last day or two.

They are probably off somewhere shorting the market elsewhere to try and make back the money they didn't scam and that they lost on NNVC.

I have to agree with you here emiller. I remain optimistic for the future value here - but the longer getting the Phase III population filled out takes,.... the longer it will be before the company can hope to see any return, and the more likely it will be that the company will have to sell more shares to keep afloat in the meantime.

If they have any hope of getting enrollment filled up over 800 before EOY 2015, they are going to have to start pulling in some months with 35-40+ new patients enrolled - and soon.

    They 'wild cards' here remain:

    1) What will Phase I results from HPV wart testing look like - as we should start to see some of those results this year as well?

    2) How will the lawsuit with the former CRO go? Will it go to actual trial? Or will some settlement come out first?

Have tried to suggest the same thing found_it_two,..... certain individuals chose to yammer on and on about a couple of very specific issues. Kind of like pre-teen kids.

IF those individuals have something that they can make stick legally,.... more power to them IMO.

However - the current attitude has made Yahoo! an even more useless place (it was fairly useless anyway) to try and exchange actual information than it used to be.

Chances are - Phase I gets started this upcoming (2015-2016) Winter/Spring at the earliest.

Australia would indeed be a possibility - if the plant is online and properly certified is what they need to go with TOX testing.
