So Sony is planning to release something this year...."These are planned to be available later in 2014". So that means they could release other goodies too. Getting on time to get a nice fat contract! Can't release something PicoP ish without a contract, no matter what some think.
Whisper must be good because there have been some nice moves up. I'm expecting a beat for reasons you mention. It's certainly about time for a return to good quarters :)
Oh, I hear you Shock! I'm fixing to buy 1000 more when the kickers get it down enough, but I'm also fully prepared to start unwinding after the end of the year, if we get two more CC's of gobbledegoop, and no contract. I don't expect I'll lose any money, but the rocket ride seems further away as the days past quickly away, and as No said, the patents are only good for a while, so the clock is ticking, louder, and louder as the years tick off, lol. My dreamer sides says we'll get something soon, but my practical side says endless waiting is a suckers game.
Microsoft has been working on this stuff for years, and should have been able to go to market a good while back. If 55 grand was all it took, somehow I think Microsoft would have been there already :) I hope these guys can get up the money, because if Mvis can't be first to open the markets, someone needs to. Can't have a sales arena without the arena. We need to see product out there, Mvis needs competition, otherwise they may continue at their snails pace :) I haven't seen those virtual keyboard ads in months, so the pico market isn't particularly sizzling, at the moment, and anything that will heat it up will be welcome, even if Mvis is the late bloomer.
Well, I can't point to a product, or revenue, or something great from IR, but I can point to a suspiciously stable PPS for the last month, which is very unusual for this drifting stock. It might indicate something going on behind the curtain. Or it might just be the milk maids trying out a new ploy :) But the longer it stays above two bucks, the more chance it is a good sign, not just milk maid tomfoolery. Plus the pps went up on the last dilution...not the usual reaction. That's all I've got....but it's more that IR has, lol. At least Aug is almost here and we can get the latest low down from the horses mouth.
Sorry to say it, No, but there has never been any guarantee that Sony will even produce the engines. You don't want to put your hopes in the Sony basket alone. It may never come to anything. It's the totality of interest that's important, so if you take Sony, UPS, and the new engine maker, it all looks a wee bit better. Some Hud interest, and another Biggie bumping the hook would be nice, But nothing, nada, zip will trump an actual signed contract. Until we see one of those from someone, it's all blather in the wind, and don't count on it. If you believe in the tech, and the patents, then you believe it will all work out someday. Without faith, and in deep...well, it's a whole lot of pain, with no salve from Pr.
For us....but I'm hoping the Asian markets go a lot sooner :) Although, Sept is nearly here now. Dang time goes by fast when you have projected timelines flashing by. Two years ago, I thought we'd be here now :) Now here is maybe Sept, or Dec, or maybe next year. Not a lot of time to start rumors, sign a contract, launch products, send out samples to choice reporters, churn up pre launch buzz, set up for pre orders, warehouse product, and get the bank vaults dusted out.
Lol, yeah, I guess we can be sanguine while we wait for the magic beans to produce some products, and revenue streams, but Apple will tell you that RipOff Industries, and I Want Mine, Inc. will be taking millions off the top in no time if PicoP is a hit in China. I'm not saying there will be fake PicoP stores opening up like the fake Apple stores were, but if PicoP is a hit world wide, it will be a big target world wide, and now is the time to be planning for it, if AT knows something we don't. Don't need to be surprised at the bad scratches when the cat's out of the bag :) If they intend to be a hit, then need to be buying lawyers now, while the price is cheap, lol.
Just imagining a bright future where everyone wants a piece of PicoP :) You know, the one I thought I'd be living in now, when I was imagining a few years back, lol.
Lol, I would have thought that the first rule of Due Diligence would be does the company have a product, and a revenue stream, and if not, would that change your approach to the gamble :) I like this one as the upside can go and go, but the fall would be pretty short. Pays off to average down, and lord knows Mervis gives potent opportunities for averaging down. Well....until the wall of sound at 2 bucks developed :)
Snow, it worries me when PicoP goes into China, via Sony, or whoever, that the patent police are vigilant, and the money is in place to fight, because there will be copy cats galore. Hope they can keep a tight lid on the secret sauce, for a while, at least, though I guess everything can be reverse engineered in two heart beats, and a tail shake :)
Lol, Scoot. There are never enough it it's a winner, and way to many if it's a loser. In this case I don't think I got near enough yet :) But I'm a picky buyer, and Mvis has a way of making good buying situations from time to time, so I wait, and see.
Shoot, Scooter, if it can go a whole 30 days over 2 bucks, I"ll be pickled tink! There has been a lot of aiming low with this stock over the years, and they've never yet failed to disappoint, lol. If that wall of sound can keep it over two for another 7 days, that'll be something :) How much over two is another thing altogether......but if they end up with a big fail, I'll get me some more, so it's all good :)
This is more fun than an Apple rumor, even if the spike isn't as high, because this seems to have staying power past one day, lol. Keep that loop looping!!! .....and crank the base up a bit more, they can't hear it in China yet, or we'd be up a bunch more :)
DG, delistment and dilution have been the biggest sound baffles to contend with in the past (they now seem off the table for a while), so as long as Sony doesn't come out and say, "thanks, but no thanks", I can't see any reason for the cycling not to continue, as the rubber legs don't seem to have it anymore. If Sony doesn't have a contract in mind, we won't know it for a while, I expect, and soon we'll hear something more about the new engine maker, and probably something positive from UPS, so the hopes will remain high for the rest of this year, for some kind of announcement on something, i.e. new player wild cards, if not the aforementioned. If it's on a self perpetuating loop, then I don't think dilution, or delistment will stop it soon. I'm hoping to see Microsoft pull a positive step forward for themselves out of the hat, and there is always a good Apple rumor in the offing, lol. If we don't get anything by the end of the year, if will be bad, but they still have 5+ months to save the bacon, so hope is still very much alive. Personally, I think Sony will release a stand alone, and a variation that docs magnetically to phones, and stuff, and wirelessly, like the Alcatel unit, , and an entertainment gizmo...speaker/projector/ dvd/bluray, mp3, etc. A plug in/battery pack recorder projector that streams tv via wifi, has some good speakers, and is small so you can take it on the Squatch hunts, and get the big guy on digital :) Plug in the hand sets, and play Big Foot vs the Aliens with him, lol. Or set it on the kitchen counter, and watch the morning news on the ice box door. Probably inside the next few months..but that's me wishing..not knowing :)
Maybe, but this Mvis roulette wheel just spins and spins, while those scratch offs last a few minutes, even if you win a free ticket :) Plus they pump oxy into the casino, so you'll feel energized, while the 7/11 just reeks of 3 day old hot dogs, and something undefinable, lol.
I think DG has kicked it up a notch and and has that low end base thump going at 12 now, lol. Yes, indeed, impressive, particularly since I wanted to buy some a bit lower, oh well, I'm not complaining. It isn't Mvis's fault it's those danged rubber legs out there are slacking off. :) Or that Sndk fell near 14 bucks the day before I was going to sell to buy :) Now I'll have to wait and see if news comes before the rubber legs get some lead.
