    I SEE 45 NEXT WEEK STRO0NG STOCK

Looks like it had some short term support at $45. Wonder if that will be the new resistance. I haven't looked close but my concern is the debt they are building will hurt them. I don't fully get their earning report on gaap versus non gaap because I see entities like value line report their non gaap. These biotechs have really gotten beaten up. I was suprised at the buyout offer they turned down. Looks lke a buy for short term gain but who knows.

The worst thing you can do is post the price you bought at. In general it means the stock will go down and hold below that point 90% of the time. Seen it a million times on these boards.

Actually they recommended to short in the 4's a couple months ago. They have made some horrendous recommendations. Anything they say do the opposite as they are wrong about 80% of the time.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • It was in the mid 4's in January. ๐Ÿ™‚ Expect more volatility. Also there is no guaratee on anything from the FDA on June 4 th. They can take all the time they want. could still double from here with approval by August. Could drop 50% also.

I don't think it will be down 40%. There are a lot of entities supporting the stock price. As lng as you have buyers it doesn't matter. Didn't Elon actually use money from privately owned space-x to buy shares. The home solar business model just doesn't appear to work. Stock seems to be holding at $18 after hours. This company seems to eat cash like a 600 lb person. Their is not nearly as bad as SUNE. I think their business model assumes large increases in power costs but that hasn't happen. SCTY did have that great run up recently where it went in the 30's. Who knows may do it again. It's just to risky when the company doesn't seem to have fundamental support. IMHO Elon definitely a unique guy.

Charts calling for 30.00 Before The Bottom

Charts have support at $37, 33.2 after that who knows. Technically they look aweful. Sentiment very negative along with whole biotech area. Fundamentally they look very good with the possible exception of high debt load due to the acquisition. Based on this I would have to rate them a sell. I thought after their sell off the last week of April they might bounce back. Appears they are going down more. I could see them bouncing back into the high 40's. Whatever the case management doing a bad job for a stock to lose 50% of its value. IMHO Good luck to all. Disclosure: Bought at $41.90 right before earning, will hold unless there is some bad news that will affect fundamentals.

Their financials look aweful. I just don't how the stock holds up. Maybe it is because of the support elon musk provides. The home solar business model just looks like it doesn't work. The average electric bill in the US is under $100, in general it just doesn't look worth the hassle of installing solar panels at a residence. IMHO

    1. Home Solar Business Model is flawed, just doesn't work, power prices to low, look at SUNE, VSLR, and NRG, plus anyone can enter that business.
    2. TSLA may eventually be able to make a profit, especially if they get the battery factory going.
    3. Watch Solar City purchase a lot of the Tesla power paks, this transfers a lot of the borrowed money and raised capital from scty to tsla, corporations separate but the people who run them are in the same family.
    4. Expect very bad news from next scty earning report
    IMHO

I look at the last two quarters and it looks like they had to raise $700 million through borrowing and issuing stock just to break even on cash flow. They have a couple billion in debt and revenues of maybe $600 million this year. I was curious how they book their revenues as related to leases? Hope their not playing accounting tricks. Something just doesn't lok right on their accounting. With all the taxpayer money they get the IRS should take a close look. I think the business model for home solar is flawed. Look at the losses at NRG and the SUNE bankruptcy.

Shpg in my opinion is a great example of tax inversion. It is really an American company. Pfe & agn aren't going to buy it because the government will not let them. Imho
