This is fully in line with my post. I don't expect SSYS to be crying to SGLB for help any time soon, but the news suggests that "reliability" or "production quality" is a major hang-up hampering wider adoption of 3D printing, and this highlights importance of what we are doing. Who knows where it all may lead.
Stratasys price crashed today on announcement of lower sales forecast, and almost all other 3D printer makers are down today in sympathy. Some analysts apparently believe the lower sales have to do with "reliability issues." I have absolutely no idea whether SGLB addresses the specific issues that are of greatest concern with the consumer-oriented products, but to me this reaffirms we are definitely working in an important area of the emerging 3D market.
