    Actually a 12 P/E yields a SP of $4.56, 12 x 0.38 = 4.56

The EIA weekly NG storage report shows a record 2.75 Tcf NG in storage as of May 13...
The 5 year average has been 1.9 Tcf.
Also the 5 year average for Nov 15 is close to 4.0 Tcf. That means the buildup is about 2.1 Tcf during summer
If you start at 2.75 Tcf ...you can do the math...exactly at or over capacity...
Some point to fewer rigs..BUT fail to realize about the DUC wells that will production at certain levels and more importantly the fact oild is now close to $50 and you will see more shale oil come on...a lot of NG is a byproduct of shale oil drilling...

  • The December $5 calls now have exceeded the $2.50 calls in last 2-3 days...Also there are 2,500 $7.50 calls for the first time. This is very bullish folks.

    I sold half today

Kind of ironic that on May 9 you said to this board:
" I think Fridays sellers will have sellers remorse before long"..... You may be in this group soon...
-As far as the SP going up too fast...it should never have gone down to $1.13...
-As far as earnings, your estimates are obsolete...your estimates are 2015 estimates if they had not fumbled...
    -2016 EPS would easily be 44c - 60c... for 3 reasons:
    1) every half decent brokerage firm and analyst have switched their GV rating to strong buy or buy
    2) industry upswing and many new contracts coming down the pipe.
    3) Company is executing. They have never before had 4 quarters in a row with such good results.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

You make a valid point, but it is kind of hard to estimate what portion of the 12 month firm contracts is done in the following quarter after the backlog is given. When you compare same quarter from previous year, which would be a more fair comparison, you see that the $36.6 mil for fix contracts given at end of Q1 2016 is much higher than the Q1 2015 $31.5 fix contracts.. Also since industry is picking up, and more contracts will be become available, we do not know for sure what has happened since March 30 2016. What if by April 15 or 20 for example they signed 3-4 small contracts of 4-5 mil each. Now as of April 15 or 20 you have $56 mil in fixed contracts again. Although this is a speculative example on my part, the recovery in the industry , the talked about bigger electric and construction projects, and the observed bullishness of many analysts NOT just for GV but for other companies in same industry, suggests that you will see more fixed/firm contracts coming up. That's what makes me believe that GV may come close if not repeat the 17c quarter they had. The $56.6 mil in fixed contracts and the 17c EPS was not a fluke due to a big TEXAS one time project. It is the result of a recovery in the industry.Notice the CEO's observation in Q4 release...we have achieved these results with no big TEXAS project...why mention that? Business is good and getting better. More fixed contracts are coming up, and therefore profits/margins will be better.

FInally Yahoo now shows ttm EPS of $0.38 and a P/E of 7.07. My calculator says 2.65/0.38 = 6.97...
AT least they are much closer to true EPS and P/E than before...They had not updated info in several months...

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • The ttm P/E at today's close (even after SP hit $2.39) was 2.39/0.39 = 6.12
If you check companies in same industry (see yahoo competitors) you will see that the average ttm P/E for the Industry is 17.29.
If GV was trading at the industry average P/E of 17.29, then its SP TODAY should be 17.29 x $0.39 = $6.74

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • GV just announced a spectacular Q1. Revenue more than $35 mil and EPS of 17c for the quarter!!!

    - TTM (trailing 12 months) EPS is now 38c. Even with a modest 15 P/E this stock should be $5.70 TODAY !
    - Stocks trade not on TTM EPS but forward EPS ....so if they maintain an EPS of around 15c in next 3 Qs,
this stock should be a $10 easily.
    - Street, Fidelity, Louis Novellier and many others have become bullish on GV recently with a buy
    recommendation.
    - GV EPS beat PWR earnings by 5c this quarter...amazing...and PWR is a $23-$24 stock.
    - Many new Electric contracts will become a reality in next 3-6 months as many recent published articles have
    indicated ...

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

NASDAQ shows no shorts for period ending 4/15...I have no way to know what is the current short count.
I think you are right.. Looks like someone is hunting for stop loss orders...The bad thing is with GV being a microcap it takes few hundred stocks to manipulate it...

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • In the past Fidelity did not show a rating for GV due to "lack of information". Now they show 4 ratings from 4 different firms as of last week of April 2016, one Outperform, one Buy, and two Neutral for an average score of 7.1/10. Why these firms started rating GV now? Do they see an industry trend ? New contracts coming up ? I think this is very positive for GV and may have contributed to more people becoming aware of its potential, and to the heavier trading observed in the last few days.

As far as SG&A , looking at their filed 10-Q, in 2015 (9 months) they have spent $3.55 mil versus $3.24 in 2014(9 months). For last quarter 3Q2015 SG&A was $1.07 mil versus $0.99 mil in 3Q2014. So, 10-Q shows they are spending about 10% more on SG&A, which is quite healthy and that's why revenues have been going up.

Revenues in 3Q2015 were up 19.4% not 17%. Profit picked up mostly because of no penalties, which shows that in the quarters that they had 30% growth profit could have been 10c -12c a share...Also no company in the world can continue increase revenues 30% year after year, quarter after quarter...

By the way why you are here on this board? I remeber 2 years ago when SP was $1.40 you were saying similar things and SP would go down. It went to $2 then $2.50, then almost $3....You could have made a very nice profit if not listening to you. All companies have ups and downs, especially microcaps.

GV has done some excellent work with MSAs and easily they will have 2015 increased revenues around 25%, which is spectacular!
