Lmao!! 41 dislikes for a post that is 100% real life account. The short destruction of this company is nothing short of a tragedy against diabetics across the world. I'll continue to relay my experiences, second hand as they occur.
Thanks Sluggobear. Its thanks to her really. She is giving me permission to chronicle her experience (and she often proofs me to make sure I am not stretching). To be honest, I am at the point where I fear more than anything that this treatment may be pulled out from under her due to poor management. Lowering her A1C by 1 point buys her 10 years of diabetic complication free survival. She never had a prayer of consistently having an A1C in the 6's on the pump but its a very real possibility now. (she has had an A1C in the high 6's only twice in the last 10 years)
To be fair to our management team I believe SNY is the one really screwing this thing up. Its a shame that they are not taking their responsibility for improving the lives of diabetics as seriously as they should. Time will tell but I do hope every diabetic gets a chance to use this treatment and improves their health and well being.
For those morons who can't cut and paste:

Working with your healthcare professional, the program helps you with your overall diabetes management with customized diabetes support. And Afrezza® COACH is completely free of charge.
For any morons out there who think I am making this stuff up here is the link to the coach program.
Thanks OPC. I believe in the product even more based on my GF's experience so far. I honestly believe she will significantly lower her A1C and as a user she loves it. However, I should have paid more attention to your management sucks warnings rather than loving the science as much as I do. Lets hope science eventually prevails?
I only live with a TI, but that's a good question. I don't know if TII's regularly use pump or not? I do know that she hated it but it was better than injecting several times a day. But its cumbersome and you have to change your injection site every three days (quite a process actually) and the injection site scars her abdomen leaving bumps etc. Injection site has white adhesive disk that she always felt self conscious about it, especially at the beach.
Rep said she is currently seeing more TI's going off the pump than TII"s. She has witnessed a big pushback from Endo's. She implied it was due to poor marketing by SNY.
(I swear that is completely unethical in my opinion. Withhold the best treatment on the market that is FDA approved? #$%$?)
Yes its been around for quite awhile actually to try and get people onboard and using the product correctly.
SNY provided. You get one assigned when you sign up online for your discount card. Im asking for details as we speak.
She said she was very helpful and knowledgeable. Specifically she helped her with the carb ratio on Afrezza. I'm not 100% sure what she means by that, but she seemed pleased with the meeting.
Consider the source but her coach said the "bad" or lack of marketing was just bad timing of when Afrezza hit the market which made it harder for insurance companies to cover it. According to her they just met yesterday to revamp their 2016 marketing strategy for Afrezza.
I can only hope that Al is mad as @$## and gave them an ear full about how poorly they are performing vs his expectations and had some success leveraging a more robust plan. Time will tell.
Again this was info from an Afrezza coach so take it for what it is.
All he has to say is 'HE' is committed to afrezza's success since SNY can't be bothered. He is likely prevented per the agreement with SNY from buying more shares.
I have to be honest. Based on her results its borderline unethical for Endo's not to be prescribing this treatment. Its equally mysterious how SNY is unable to sell this treatment? Just boggles my mind based on her results.
