Re vote the gold or re vote by phone. By sending in two proxy's they may cancel each other. Remember you only have one vote.
Well said. And I still hope that if the current managment is ousted there will be some attempt made to recoup those looted funds.
After reading Mr. Wise's letter accompanying the proxy, I would suggest that after the present Chairman, CEO and Board of Directors are replaced both a complaint to the SEC be made and a law suite initiated against them for their reckless and irresponsible actions in an attempt to make them repay looted funds and if possible a sum representing both payment for damages and punishment. Make it very expensive for them.
Totally agree with everything you've posted. There are quite a number of law firms that specialize in these kinds of cases although they end up punishing the defendant more than rewarding the plaintiff but that's O.K. with me.
Wegie my thoughts exactly. Have been comparing 12 month targets and booked business and ALLT seems a much better bet than PKT but it's being crushed and no buy recommendations. Makes no sense at all.
Perhaps you might be right about deferring a sale until next year but then again Peter there is always the fear amongst traders that the profit might not be there next year.
Most likely a lot are those who bought a short while ago in the 5s and low 6s for a quick trade, no one ever went broke taking a profit.
Wedgie my cost on core holdings was in the 5s and I did some trading both to profit and recover some losses on a portion I bought back after selling 1/2 @25. Sold out in August in mid 9s. On sidelines tempted but risk/reward does not look that appealing currently but.........
Wedgie is one of PKT's later victims so he is less likely to be suffering from the kind of enthusiasm exhaustion most of the rest of us are.
Buy when the blood is running in he street, never overestimate the intelligence of retail investors. The herd mentality leads them all over the cliff.
Thanks. Take a look at PKT again it's been crushed. I exited some time ago but will re enter on new rumors of a sale or takeover. It's really cheap and likely to double if it gets bought. Great technology but poor execution, constantly failed to meet projections but very valuable to bigger better company.
More often than not, in my experience, a downgrade at this level should be regarded as a positive event. Just as often we see an upgrade after a run up, they upgrade at a top after the event and prior to a pullback or correction. Good luck.
@choo2choo Agree with your comments but there may be some concern that if China slows then the need to import commodities will slow too. But then again fuel costs have dropped significantly boosting the bottom line.
wedge Great article on China too.
I just finished reading that article this morning and thought it encouraging.
Peter are you suggesting that perhaps PKT and ALLT will follow suit or just putting these names in front of us for considration?
Peter that all sounds terrific only problem is that the price per share has dropped by two thirds in two years and by seventy five percent from its high. Glad I took profits that I can spend rather than hoping that things will turn around next year. If things do turn around I can re enter again at significantly less than my last sale however I want to see tangible results, profits not promises. Good luck.
Peter at the risk of sounding quite rude and I apologize, your beliefs and feelings have no more validity than the remarks posted by PK. While in some ways I admire your tenacity the truth is you have been dead wrong about this company for at least two and a half years. Even the best can be wrong and that's fine but at some time it might make sense to stand back and evaluate why we are where we are? It has appeared to me for some time that you may be guilty of the classic mistake of falling in love with a stock and failed face the fact it just hasn't worked out as you hoped. Or keep coming up with ideas to convince yourself that you are still right after all. Procera may indeed still turn itself around but frankly, if you didn't take profits when you had the opportunity you may be in for a long wait.
