I can't prove it now because both of those IDs have been deleted. But the evidence would have been compelling. Ask yourself why a person like PK would create an ID with the name sppi666 and use them simultaneously? There was a ton a funny business going on and then he got caught by not switching the ID at the right time.
I wish you guys well, Peter. Just thought I'd pass on past experiences that we've had with this guy. He's doing the same at the AMRN board now that he used to do at the SPPI board. He "used" to say the exact same things about SPPI as he is doing here with PKT.
Have a good one.
You claimed to own stock at one point. Guess you're a genius to, right?
Just don't make the mistake of not switching your id's on this board. I don't think most people will understand "pktdown". Most here don't even remember "sppi666".
Just a heads up for all of you. He did the same thing on the SPPI board between a year or two ago. He had his pkarnett ID and a created one named "sppi666". He was caught when he forgot to switch the ID in a reply. This is all to familiar. He soured on the stock, and now is bashing the same way.
Well, when you pumped it as a gift over 17 and into the twenties, you reinforced your credibility here.
Interesting. Online, they clearly showed that Vascepa did not have the non-preferred label. I wonder if that is state or plan dependent.
I also have Caremark, however, not on Vascepa. I went to the Caremark website and checked the drug costs if I were to be prescribed both Vascepa and Lovaza. Mail cost annually would be the same. Here's the kicker, though. Vascepa and Lovaza both have the "B" symbol next to them (meaning Brand, big deal). However, Lovaza also has an "N" which means Non Preferred. Vascepa does not have the "N".
PK doesn't understand holidays. He takes every opportunity to come here and bash stocks (and hide from his picks).
He will be gone soon enough. 1 month, 12 months... won't matter. It will be funny to see.
Not even a bit worried. The FDA has been your friend on this one. But, once their is an NCE decision, things will change. Be ready.
Besides, I'd still be down way more if I would have cashed out and bought PKT on your "gift".
Glad we have you on record. Should be fun.
Funny stuff, big guy. I love how you are trying to make a comparison to an inferior product that may not find a real market space. There is a reason the product sold for less than $400M before milestones. It could already be dead! No one knows why AZN chose this path, but I'm telling you it's because they are out of the running for $AMRN. They settled. AZN said they were only up for small takeovers, and only had a few billion to do so. Soriot couldn't afford JZ's asking price. Now, Pronova.... An even less inferior product, sold for $900M. So, I suppose $AMRN is only worth that, right? Geez, do some real homework.
But that's never been your interest on any of these boards.
Well.. I'm thinking more and more that AZN couldn't afford Amarin's asking price, so they turned to the next best (yet inferior) thing. They need it to combo with Crestor, and it's obvious that Amarin will combo with someone else now.
Here's another question. If AMRN didn't exist, how much would OMTH be worth? Way more. OMTH took what they could get out of this and ran.
Inferior drug that won't be on the market for a year (only to compete with Marine indication at that time)/combo study not underway yet / CV outcomes study not underway yet. 88% premium in the face of all of Adam's "fish oil sucks" nonsense.
Vascepa... Superior clinical data. Already gaining market space. Anchor coming. Combo results any day. CV outcomes trial already truckin'.
I don't think $AZN could afford Joe's asking price.
So, what's Amarin worth?
I agree. Many of us speculated that $AZN really didn't have much to commit to a deal with AMRN. Not enough spare cash. Soriot only talked of small deals. I think AMRN was out of their current price range.
Aw man... Guess you had to give up that dilution argument. Just moving on to the next bullet point.
Ha! Over 5M in sales. Much better than expected.
I find it interesting that I have seen no discussion on this topic since the company came out with the revised outlook. I thought the January numbers were still around $20-25 Million. Anyone seen February's? March's?
Are they going to dilute your shares? Are you out of this stock? You seem really interested for someone who seems to have cashed out.
Nice call, PK. Not quite as sweet as your PKT promises, but good work nonetheless.
Is there a link to this?
I thought you got into this stock for the 3-5 year potential, and now you don't like the pipeline?
Stop pumping? Everyone here has a right to their opinion after studying the facts. The same could be said to you. Stop complaining and move on already. If you want to be taken seriously (have people read your blog and trust information you provide) man up and stop crying about this one already.
