Those price target cuts won't usually show up in Yahoo! Finance for several days. Fortunately the targets remain reasonable. I suspect $32 will be the stock price in 3 months.

This one is going to be extremely interesting.

  • I reviewed the past several years of earnings reports, annual reports on this bank.
My own conclusion is ICICI Bank Ltd. is the best managed bank I could find Worldwide.

You are 100% correct. These analysts have never been anywhere except their wealthy suburbs and first class airline flights.

    This is good.
Most certainly great if you know anything about this company, it's CEO history and new business in banking and government all the way from USA to Singapore and Japan and lots more around the corner.
Additionally, companies and government are finally taking security seriously which translates into the most robust security in the business which is VDSI.

VTR and O stocks dropped in anticipation of rate increases in 1999.
VTR and O stocks rose significantly after rates were raised through year 2000.
    "Buy into fear"
I'll be looking at other reits to see how they responded to the after the fact on rate increases.

    Below book value.
    Cash on hand strong.
    Debt reduced by half.
Looks like a well managed company to me in this dynamic environment.

    1. Projected 17% growth for next 5 years.
    2. Beats estimates consistently.
    3. Strong cash position with pristine balance sheet.
    4. Business model to incrementally acquire and grow continues
    5. PEG ratio of .79 indicates LCI is 20 percent under priced, even without beating estimates. Without beating estimates, $71.20 is the price LCI should be now.
    6. In an economy where the possibility exists of interest rate rise, cash rich companies are the ones to own.
LCI remains one of the 10 best buys on the stock market today from a fundamental perspective. Growth at a reasonable price.

If LCI longs are hesitant about a probable $82 target price, they can go for about $70 using covered calls.

The calculation as of today's closing prices is something like this:

December $65 strike price calls going for $410 per contract.
December is 7 months away or 7/12ths of year or .583 of year.
Current stock price is $55.63. $65 strike is $937 above current stock price.
    Add $410 + 937 = $1347 gain if called away.
Subtract $20 for purchase of stock and sale of call (100 shares, contract).
    1347 - 20 = $1327 gain if assigned.
    1347 / 5563 / .583 = 41.5% annualized return.

If LCI is over $65 in December you have limited the upside to that + call proceeds.

If LCI is under $65 on December 18 close you just keep the $410 proceeds from the sale of the call (for each 100 share contract).

There are risks no matter what route you take but if you are planning to be long and your target is $65, not a bad deal for 41 percent annualized return.

I simply bought some more LCI, going for a higher target at which point, I might sell calls.
