The above numbers were the raw numbers off the Astellas report. I can't tell if those numbers already account for the split with Medivation or if they are raw sales numbers. Obviously that makes a huge difference.
My conversion could be completely off but here I go
total sales 278 million
us sales 168 million
ex us 110 milllion
Keep in mind these sales are than shared 50-50 in US and a much smaller % ex US.
Sorry, looks to be in Yen again. Ex us sales look to have really grown.
total sales for quarter 31.3 billion yen up 160% (up from same qrtr last year I believe)
us sales 18.8 billion yen up 75%
ex us 12.4 billion yen
If I recall correctly their market closes at 0100 hrs central time zone. I have stayed up to watch for the numbers on occasion. One time they reported in Yen forcing me to break out my abacus to convert. Should be interesting.
Dream on. Allegations from 2010 that there may have been some insider trading for a day. Even if its true the market quickly corrects itself. This pup is currently trading where its valued.
So your conspiracy theory now also involves someone scheming to keep patients from the number 1 cancer treatment?
You may benefit from looking at your investments from multiple angles instead of letting emotions and blinders guide you.
By the way 35% institutional holdings is nothing to brag about.
Two words...index funds. They buy everything in a specific index. By the way the whole market value of DNDN is a fly speck to the giant funds. Not going to budge them one way or the other. As for how smart the funds are, thats a laugh, I have outperformed 99% of the funds over 30+ years of investing. And yes they make bad investments every day.
To bad the company is in a "quiet period" or they could talk about the merits of their drug. Three months with out a press release. A new CEO that hasn't said a word. No earnings call.
Why no insider selling, because they don't want to get sued. A better question, why no insider buying?
Funny no one ever disputes Pesos's statements. Instead they pull out the paid basher label they place on anyone they disagree with. It doesn't hurt to read and consider theories counter to your own. It might save you some money.
Hire a new CEO and than you hear nothing for three months, not so much as a hello. No earnings call? Yikes, And yes you need a CEO no matter what your financial situation is. Would a vibrant growing company hire an elderly and retired person to lead the way? I have heard of warning flags before but these are more like flares.
Why are there 15 jobs open? One explanation is that everyone is jumping ship. Guess that explains why no one returns messages. Its a quiet period alright, quiet cause no one is home.
This has got to be the worlds longest quiet period. You got a new CEO that has never so much as said hi, an earnings report with no earnings call, no press releases at all for months. Is anyone sure theres even anyone there anymore?
