gobbling up cheap shares/stop losses before good news or is bad news coming. This week will be tough on investors with weak hands before earning release-estimated around 3/5/14 according to a poste,r that called direct, a week ago. I'm holding for earnings, for sure. Usually, in my experience,, stock rises before bad news as the MM's get out, maybe they already did it today before drop, to rebuy later at lower prices. GLLs
Nice reversal since you posted a week ago! This is a long in my book unless something drastic comes out. MMs will drive it down to pick up stops, always before a miraculous rise!! This range of pricing is fully acceptable to a long! And divie doesn't hurt as we are waiting! Maybe it'll rise as was suggested in your other reply. That would drive it up!! And those sellers will kick themselves.
I'm like you grunge, #2 is why they downgraded. Happens all the time. These guys gotta be monitored better when they are dealing with everyone's savings. Experience in years I see it all the time. Also, before a rise, you'll see MMs dip the stock and pick up the stops and miraculously a huge rise happens. I never use stops, but I know people that have lost their shares right after they bought right.
I don't know what he said, but doesn't this make Jim Cramer and the street look bad? Saying to unload/sell. I sometimes thing his buddies at Goldman give him tips to help them load or unload. JMHO!
I consider they did me a favor-it's buy time! Wait for earnings and hop if it's OK to good, before it rises. Bad report then wait a little longer to add!
It's working for him so far! I'm still watching this one until I see a direction with profits. Can't pay debts without profits.
I just reread the article at The Street by Tiffany Tseng. What a joke! Every category had large improvements in a sector that hasn't gotten back to normal yet. Unless she has a crystal ball knowing the future, why would you bash a company that's performing so well and paying a monthly dividend of $0.15 for an 8.3%/YR rate or more depending on when purchased. It mentions down 6% on 1/24/14 but with their bashing and the total market performance that's not bad.
It did say Fresh Market-they compete with Whole Foods, but other than that it's only in HI so far. Says Walmart and rest want to expand past west coast.
It's between MM;s nobody sells at $1 less going into earnings! Esp one that looks to be a good one And if not wait 3 months and it will.
I agree with you, every category they mention contradicts what they are saying. They are helpings out buddies get some weak hands stock, IMHO!! This company is in a field that will take off when everyone regains confidence in what's happening in the markets. I'm holding onto my shares.
Plus the "A" "B" holders will sell their "C" shares to cash in eventually, so it will put downward pressure on the "C" shares
