That doesn't work when the pps is down 30%.

I read all the articles and as shady and bad as these guys are ( and also whoever is behind the shorting) I am at a loss to understand why Medallion has been silent and certainly ineffective in battling the lies.
Now for the bad part! It is though Medallion has decided to let the lies continue and watch the pps drop so they can buy back some very cheap shares. In other words, management has decided to let their shareholders get screwed to line their own pockets. Surprise, surprise! Just another case of a company
treating their small shareholders as superfluous and bothersome. The next step could possibly be a huge buy back by the principals and then the company goes private. Same ol, same ol!!!
So no matter how we complain, the result will be the same. Eventually the little guy will sell out because he
can't take watching his investment dwindle and what was a good investment is now a loser.
I do thank you for the info on the shorting scheme. At least we know why we are getting hammered.

is no support from the company. I don't know if they have been purchasing stock on their buyback, but it appears they haven't bought much. hence no support because \with no new buyers the market makers just keep driving the price down.
Unless we see some new buying the pps will continue to fall even if all the fundamentals are good. That's just the way the market works.

that two paid for posters, or maybe one with two identities, are the only posters. They have accomplished part of their goal of chasing off anybody that actually comes here for info. Now most TAXI posters just ignore the board.
I check in every once in awhile, but it is always the paid for short agents, controlling the board. It's too bad that
the message board can't limit the posts by anyone poster to two posts per day. Might help, might not! Probably we would get the same old #$%$ by the same poster with several different names.
    Oh well!

  • dyk742000 by dyk742000 Dec 16, 2014 2:21 PM Flag

with the buyback is that the company obviously has set a price for the stock over which they will not buy.
This certainly sets a floor on the pps, but it doesn't help push the pps up.
So it seems we will be in this price level for quite time. If you have a profit it might be time to sell. If you are underwater like me you either sell and take the loss or just put it in a corner and wait for the momentum to shift.
In other words, the buyback really doesn't help raise the pps much, it just stops the collapse.

has told Uber and Lyft that there operations are not legit and the police will be giving tickets and fines from now on. As I understand this has been the case in several large cities.
Also, if what a previous poster has said is true and Taxi has now a Universal App then there will be real competition for Uber, Lyft, etc. I know I would sure as hell get a ride from a cabbie that has passed all the requirements than from some fly by night wannabe.
Things are looking good from here!

You are an #$%$! That is not the total and the figure of approx. is net sold 25,000. So just keep pumping your lies and maybe , damn I hope so, you will get caught in a short squeeze.

  • Please review the following. The figure is the net transaction for insiders for the last six months. See chart!
    Net Share Purchase Activity
Insider Purchases - Last 6 Months
    Shares Trans
    Purchases 4,635 1
    Sales 31,300 4
    Net Shares Purchased
    (Sold) (26,665) 5
Total Insider Shares Held 3.29M N/A
    % Net Shares Purchased
    (Sold) (0.8%) N/A

The shorts can't seem to tell the truth. maybe that will change when the SC comes out with their ruling.

    Insider Dumps 31,000 Shares !

My info says the last form 4 filing was 11/21/2104. Show us the form 4 for this sale and if you don't it proves you are an out right liar.

The buyback amount was $20 million, so TAXI could buy over the next 6 months Appox. 2 million shares. That is 7 to 9% of the float and since the last report shows 745,000 shares short they could buy most of the available shares leaving very few at the DTCC. Not a good position for the shorts. They have made their money so it might be time to cover and move on.

I small a little panic in the shorts as the possibility of a short squeeze looms!

  • Massive sale of 120,000 shares today ( could be an actual sale, but I doubt it) at just below $9.60, then a cluster of buys at $9.15 to $9.20 so a nice profit if $48,000.
I guess there are rules about a company shorting its own stock, but I have my suspicions
At any rate, until this stock gets free of the barrage of shorts working it, we will never recover.
Management could stop it if they wanted by watching for the large short placement and buying bthe same amount immediately, but I don't think that will happen.

Decent price for the buyback to begin

Unfortunately an authorized buyback doesn't mean there will be one. The management is not naive and will wait for some rock bottom figure before buying one share. Most small investors will be out by then. I wish it wasn't the case, but not much can be done about it. I am in at a much higher price and thought rules and regulations would stop or at least hamper UBER. As usual the city R&R are never enforced when push comes to shove so future is not so bright..

who or what old eagleeye works for???? I used to think he was just a short, but now I think it is possible he works for Uber and is paid to hand out #$%$.
You have to admit he has done a good job of scaring people out of their positions.
We will see how he holds up when enforcement of existing laws start.

    UBER and LYFT

Also, in some cities the cabs must be of a color registered with that city. Different colored vehicles owned by private parties do not comply.
In the paper today there was an article describing an item used in some of the Uber vehicles that read info off your phones and other items. I don't know the details, but doesn't sound ethical to me.
Sooner or later the different cities and counties will start to crack down on the illegal actions and that could be the end of both companies in this questionable business.

    Why Such Terrible Price Performance?

    by crocgatr Oct 31, 2014 10:05 PM
    dyk742000 dyk742000 Nov 3, 2014 7:10 PM Flag

You have to remember that the shorts and market makers are working this stock down and they seem to have
a message board member that is bringing any bad news that can be found and some that are made up.
Also, the medallion Board has authorized a huge stock buyback, but authorizing and actually buying are two different things. They authorized a stock buyback before this one and I continuously tried to find out how many shares had actually been purchased. Never could find out.
Until they actually buy back some stock in large enough amounts to scare the shorts the price will continue
    to fall.
    Good Luck!
