This is the first of dozens of patents that they have. All they need is FDA approval, licence this to the highest bidder and move on to the next phase of R&D. Done right this company can capitalize on its intellectual property while not giving away the whole store.
If you have been following ACTC / OCAT as long as I have you should have heard a couple of years ago when they said their biggest problem was too many small retail investors and not enough institutional investors. So what did they do? Get a NASDAQ up-list, get on the Russell 2000 which requires funds to buy in. They let the scared small time people run away while continuing on a methodical process to make Dr. Lanza's dream realized.
I have most of my OCAT in a Roth IRA which I can't withdraw from for many years. My goal is in a decade to have cool million in that account which will be available to me tax free. My plan may or may not work but at least I have a plan. OCAT is for a quick swing trade or a long time hold. Don't let the 'No products until 2020 crowd' scare you. Just decide if this is the right investment for your time frame....
At the same time, the steep budget cuts Greece has to implement in return for the new bailout are bound to cause more pain for its economy and citizens. The rescue program foresees a 2.3% contraction of Greece’s gross domestic product this year, followed by a 1.3% decrease next year.
The deal also expects that shareholders, junior creditors and senior bondholders in Greece’s battered banks will take losses before the lenders will be recapitalized. That will likely cause further uncertainty for a financial sector already reeling from capital controls that are unlikely to be lifted anytime soon.
Does this mean down before up? I want to jump in at some point. But it still seems a little scary now.
