No one can blame you for making a profit. Good for you. However, I think there will be an uptrend when we approach the earnings release. We may break 3.20 within the next month or so barring any significant market crash. But I like you am planning on taking profits prior to earnings.
Natural gas is now tanking. ARP can't get a break. It's being clobbered on both fronts oil and Nat gas. Thank god I sold above 15 and change.
From Imanema92: " He sold at the bottom (at 19.70 pps) "
Well well well.....Look who sold at the right time and made a profit....How are your losses coming along? LOL you must be furious! There will be more pain ahead....I'll check in later to see how you're doing ;)
think of it this way, just DRIP and collect the cheaper shares that will cost average down. You will make even more money than if the stock stayed put once the bounce back to NAV happens. And it will happen eventually. Compounding is powerful. I've had REITS that have dropped 30% in pps. But since I've held for over 4 years with DRIP, I'm actually up by about 30%.
PSEC has hit 8.50 several times before only to rebound back to 11-12 several months after. This is another attempt shake out the weak hands and I suspect there may be another "flash crash" as we've seen before withe BDCs and REITS. I'm putting a buy order in at around 8.50 to take advantage. The fundamentals haven't changed, this is a sector decline. Buy when there is blood in the streets.
"If you didn't sell at $25... that is just sad."
Your logic is astonishing, you blame me for not selling at 25 and below NAV and yet you sold out at 18. 68 where when I sold I actually made MORE than your trade after holding for about 4 years. Pac, you are truly...an idiot.
Your a typical idiot with 20/20 hindsight. It's so easy to judge with history behind you. Oh you should have...I should have......LOL With a 30% cut in dividends, there are other plays out there that are much more appealing. An example is where I made a quick 15% in about 2 months with the reinvested funds. That is about 3 years worth of SLRC dividends. I still laugh at all those who criticize those who made a profit where I'm sure you are now under water. Nice try. I'll take my funds elsewhere.
Really, I guess it's expected that you behave like an idiot and neglected to read my prior post several days ago that I had already sold my Sprint shares for a 15% profit in a couple months prior to today's announcment. LOL. You really do make me chuckle. I've made a profit in both cases so if you did the opposite of me which is what you did with SLRC, you end up being underwater. Nice try little buddy!
"so you still don't feel stupid about selling at the bottom!?!?!? I I called it, you should at least acknowledge this. It's true,"
Your silence says it all. No replies from the board idiot imanema92 who said the above when I sold in the mid 19s and prior to SLRC cutting their dividends by a whopping 30%. I saw the writing on the wall when they bought back shares at a strike price of 22 pps. Terrible management decisions. SLRC will have a hard time competing with the larger BDCs with a larger revolving credit. I'm glad I got out with a good profit.
Well well well, the idiot just ate his words. Did I sell at the bottom ? Nope. did I get out at the right time? Yep. SLRC cut it's dividends by 30% and now is at it's lowest in history. I know you are losing on this while I secured my profits. BTW sold sprint for a 15% profit in about a month. Not too shabby. Enjoy holding your bag ;). I'll check in , in a month or two to get another chuckle
Made a mistake? Shares are down 7% to where I sold AND they just cut your dividend by over 30%? And my reinvested shares are up 15%. Dude, beer just shot through my nose. Very amuzing watching you try so hard. You must have lost big time. Sorry for that ;).
Not yet, I'm waiting for 10 bucks and change. This is typical movment from 14 back to 10. I sold at 14 and am glad I did. No big catalysts in the near term. EU approval is already priced in . My first entry point will be at 10.25
Well well well, look where SLRC is at today. Almost at my strike price 4 years ago. Who was the dufus who said I sold at the wrong time? Typical. ;) BTW sprint is up today. ;)
Glad to see how well you are doing. Let's see SLRC has dropped 5% after opening ur mouth where I'm up 15%, two years worth of SLRC dividends. You must have bought at 22 for you to keep trying so hard to justify your purchase.. Sorry about that ;)
