I think it's a Technology Upturn Begun. HPQ Beat and Reaffirmed 2015. MU Beat the past 5 times by increasing amounts the past six months including the wider GPM%.
Would be surprised if it were DRAMs the only segment with rising earnings. INTC EPS and GPM% rise is likely as well.
I think earnings are turning the corner in general. Especially in Olipoly DRAM vendors...
Recovery also begun in MSFT, HPQ, and others. Some buzz in the cool products and acceptance & likeability of Win8.
INTC Earnings will provide an interesting insight:
Micron (ticker: MU) From DRAM chips Beat Earnings EPS with Expanded GPM Rise up 3% to 36%.
Samsung from DRAM chips also beat earnings.
If Intel does similarly this is a Technology Profit Upcycle.
If not then it is a DRAM Chip Upturn (chip shortage) lifting MU and Samsung.
Beat plus Beat REVISIONS UP BY 50K for Prior two months so Total Beat is Significant
1 Beat good... 2 Beat would be Better.... 3 Beats and Revising Upward the Prior two months is STRONG.
