You must really be a LOSER! If a NUT like you invested $10,000 back in 1984 and did NOT reinvest dividends you would be a MILLIONAIRE today. The YEARLY dividend paid today is over 2.5x the initial investment a NUT like you could be making. This has been an INCREDIBLE stock. You make a FOOL of yourself by shorting a stock like this. I'm willing to bet an imbecile like you has already lost mucho dinero by shorting this stock already. It's at and ALL TIME HIGH now, you MORON! By the way, this WINNER went public at the tail end of 1980 so a NUT like you could be UP even more than I previously stated.

  • Checking Yahoo business stat board and one has to go back to early 1988 where, at least, the stock was higher in price than now. 1988!!!! And this is as far as YAHOO business stat board goes. And this thing pays NO dividend and the future is still in question even at these HISTORIC lows. Feel sorry for anyone who has purchased shares in this. And much of this clan be blamed on HUSSEIN OBAMA. If you voted for this NUT and owned this stock you DESERVE the misfortune you have been dealt. I certainly have no pity for ya. For others, I feel your pain and hope the best. Disc: Never owned this LOSER and don't plan to until, at least, HUSSEIN OBAMA is out of office!

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • Once as high as $170 per share just a few years ago this LOSER is now hitting lows not seen since
February 1995!!!!!!! This LOSER has really been a LOSER and has costs its shareholders much
dinero! Long term, who knows, it may regain its once glory but will leave it to ones more courageous than I
to play this one either short or long.

I agree with the board. But today, at the least, this has been punishing. This stock is really manipulated. Like others I have a lot of shares and won't add anymore going forward until this stock settles down. It is way too volatile and shouldn't be.

    Controls In Macau

Winner CEO'S have the capacity to be problem solvers.
You sound like one just trying to convince yourself of your short position. There will be tremendous cash flow out of the Macau casinos for years to come. The 'best of breed' casino companies will expand and create more opportunities. There will be solutions to the overcrowding. For now it seems every week there is news coming out of Macau. It's almost ridiculous. Sheldon and Steve must think "What is next". In short, it's a traders paradise for now. Playing any stock is a risk and casino ones are no exception. Anyone on margin is destined for doom.
I will 'wait it out' and collect my generous dividend. The NOISE
    will subside.

Yeah, at some point this could be valid (say in about 5 years). But capacity is being added which will alleviate some of the 'overcrowding'. This will add to the bottom line. Once this is realized then it becomes a 'cash flow' event. And there will be plenty of this (it already is). Meanwhile, the large casino companies will continue to expand in other areas (like Japan) and the top and bottom lines will 'expand' with it. Expansion will be the result of 'cash flow'. Hard to bet against 'sin' stocks like alcohol, tobacco, and gaming. This is an area in which to invest, hold long term, and enjoy the generous divi while you watch capital appreciation.

  • edblue1003 edblue1003 Feb 24, 2015 11:07 AM Flag

Short term, yeah. When this stock crashed back in early '09 (which is where it hit its low) Sheldon bought a MASSIVE amount of shares in the $4 range. The stock EXPLODED and his wealth with it. If you juxtapose
then to now your remark seems a little fatuous. He is one of the richest people in the WORLD!

  • edblue1003 edblue1003 Feb 24, 2015 10:58 AM Flag

Do you live in this area? If so, I would like to know who you are and what your status is there.
    Tks....

  • edblue1003 edblue1003 Feb 24, 2015 10:55 AM Flag

Great point. Look what happens every time there is an 'event' when people are unable to shop.
In the interim, they don't shop and have excess cash only to splurge once the 'event' settles. One can't keep people from gambling or shopping. It's going to happen and the 'splurge' can be substantial.

When this stock sells off BUY it. Adelson has already mentioned a R.E.I.T. This is an option and would unleash exponential share value. This is Adelson's 'ace in the hole'.....he can really trump the 'shorts'.

You can take this either way. If you're short you ACCENTUATE the "crowd control measures" or limiting the number of tourists. If you're long you ACCENTUATE the "crowd control measures" or limiting the number of tourists because there are just too many of them.
Overcrowding is a problem and like DABAHR said "isn't that a problem every business would love to have". I just BOUGHT more shares in this sell-off because it looks POSITIVE to me. China is exploding in the middle class and it can only mean more business for Macau going forward. This is a long term play and with a dividend around 4.5% it can make the 'wait' more comfortable. And I'm a believer in Adelson and Steve Wynn. I have shares in that one, too.

  • Some of these ZANNY Mutual Funds sold this stock last quarter. Up SHARPLY this year and still
hitting ALL TIME HIGHS. Goes to show you how the 'PROS' know nothing! Anyone who bought this anytime since its INCEPTION and HELD the stock has made money. ANYONE !!!!!! Amazing!!!!

  • KLEINFELD, CEO, will speak at the BMO CAPITAL MARKETS Mining & Metals Conference to be held in Hollywood, FL this coming week. At 8:30 on Monday (2/23) Klaus will speak. With this sell-off today in a strong market just presented ANOTHER buying opportunity of which I took advantage making my 83rd purchase of shares with NO sales in the past few years. I just keep adding on sell-offs. His input should prove to be interesting and, hopefully, helpful to the stock. Remember, Klaus took over the helm after the disastrous reign of his predecessor. This was a $40+ per share stock just 7 years ago. Today, this company has been transformed under his leadership. This is in NO way similar to the mis-run company prior to his stewardship. And, at least, I get a dividend higher than a money market and/or CD rate while I wait for this stock to regain its once luster just a few years ago. This will (at some point) break out of its doldrum and surpass its highs back in 2008.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • And closed near low of the day. Not good for Monday. Anyone buying stock in this LOSER today or prior is probably under water. Near all time low of 17+. Pitiful!

Well, you have to go back to middle of October 2014 to see this low price. All those nice gains wiped out.
Glad you're in this and not me. Good luck with your patience.

  • edblue1003 by edblue1003 Feb 19, 2015 5:28 PM Flag

Stock hit by gravity and plummeting to earth. With no fuel (dividend) it looks hopeless. This thing needs some boosters (rockets) to help propel back to stratosphere. Otherwise much pain to holders who now wish they
    weren't.

    Sentiment: Sell

That's a good reason to continue holding this LOSER!

  • edblue1003 by edblue1003 Feb 18, 2015 5:33 PM Flag

Playing this LOSER long or short is a sure way to disaster. This is so manipulated that the small player (and that's you) will NEVER make money on this LOSER. So many SUCKERS out there it is just unfathomable
    to believe.

Well, there goes your 'shares at a lower price'. Crude inventories just released and was DEPLORABLE.
Oil stocks including this will drop severely tomorrow. Sorry!
