  • Since 2000 and more so in 2008 people had been taught to hedge, put and short the markets in order to protect themselves or even have a pure short play. These short and triple ETF's were abounding and many were not realizing that these vehicles are to be utilized for the very short term.

SW Thompson999. There are only two things which are leaking: the stock price and the market cap.

Chrisnoore2525. Is this insult really necessary? What degree will YOU have in two weeks? Beauti. is only indicating what is happening with the schooling. After all, this is the CECO education stock board. As far as the audience being posted to, what does this indicate regarding yourself?

  • Daniel: Where are the video recordings of the incident?

  • Delmar man arrested after tackling teen prankster. By JOHN McLOUGHLIN. ABC NEWS.

Van Plew's home has several surveillance cameras, but police say they did not retrieve any video of the incident.

Daniel Van Plew, the 37-year-old general manager of a local pharmaceutical plant, Regeneron, says four teenagers created a ruckus outside his home in the upscale Haswell Farms subdivision about 10 p.m. on Saturday night, first banging on the rear door, then ringing the front doorbell.

Van Plew says he, his wife and their two young children already were in bed, but Van Plew gave chase and caught one of the four pranksters. Police say the boy suffered cuts and bruises as Van Plew subdued him, so they arrested Van Plew for endangering the welfare of a child.

Van Plew told NEWS10, "You feel like you're guilty, like you did something wrong because you have been arrested, but yet, you feel like you did something that is not unrealistic. "

Bethlehem Police say Van Plew should have called them, instead of chasing the kids himself. A spokesman says the whole legal issue "becomes fuzzy once you leave your own property and how much force is used, especially when dealing with a juvenile."

Neighbors were divided; one said she could not understand how a man can be arrested for defending his family and home, but another said Van Plew did not do a smart thing when he tackled the youngster and brought him back to his home.

Van Plew's home has several surveillance cameras, but police say they did not retrieve any video of the incident.

Where is the video? Not one video recording?

Murphy: How many shares do you have?

Oh, I see: you do have 50k shares. I did not read the whole thread prior to asking my question.
Your average seems to be nice; but, you will need a nicer directional move.

    The ones whom have an average of 3 had thought this was good at one point;
    and four, and five, etc.

Where DNDN is now at 1.50 per share on this mighty pop today, you are down $35,000.
If retreats to 1.20 this is $50,000. If -0.20 this is $100,000. This is scary. This is how some investors get whacked - they do not think in terms of the monetary aspect of loading up on a low priced stock.

Think monetarily - not just price.

To: Precious1153. This is a very interesting post, something that we very hardly see: One acknowledging that he had purchased long and had lost 50 percent, sold and limited his losses, and acknowledging his mistake. Even the aspect of your purchasing 50 percent ago, you would have purchased at around the mid 2's which is better than many and yet you had still lost 50%.

This just goes to show that even with the low price and seemingly the bottom, one cannot predict for sure where the bottom is, even at this juncture. This is hard, but this is the way to go. Some have been long since much much higher and they still continue to keep hope alive and furthering so by doubling down and posting scholarly and erudite comments on this board. The same scholarly comments when this was 1000% higher! An average means nothing if this continues to deteriorate.

    Where is the bottom?

  • eddysclassics eddysclassics Sep 3, 2014 12:34 PM Flag

Anna: The only way one can decipher, at least, the post/comment writers hearts, is just to follow the direction of the stock and fundamentals and see what lines up. Very little can be accomplished by one or two giving his or her own opinions and wishes this could move the stock in either direction in the longer term.

To: Hohoo69. The question is: What did YOU do when he was standing in the winners circle in 2010 and 2011? You could have told the bookie "Give me back all of my bet and more."

To: Harrygeee. I understand your philosophy regarding your comparison with PLUG and DNDN. My previous reply did enumerate the differences. As you had said, there must be a lot of "smart people" averaging down on the "shakeout" or bad news for this is all that we can see - shakeout prices. How much "shake down news and shake down prices has DNDN been receiving during these prior two years?

Hawkeyes555: I am not referring to casting this aside now at around 1.35 per share. No, but just do not splurge and add to this by being inspired regarding your average price. A stock can always be cheaper than cheap with zero being the cheapest. Remember another 5000 shares of this even at this price is another $6,750 down the poopy hole if this doesn't work out.

Havenger: You are great; but ...

eddysclassics eddysclassics Sep 2, 2014 1:42 PM Flag

Is it me whom you are referring to? Have you read my previous posts regarding Havenger? I was his cheerleader. He was my hero! I even wrote my subheading in this same thread indicating that "he is great." He is very scholarly, knowledgeable and profound. I ever know that Dendreon is a life saver and had hopes of even this company turning around. Read my history and you will be shocked.

This is all very well and good regarding another platform of scholarly achievement as regarding a classic disquisition or a thesis, but we are talking numbers: The numbers of the stock price which as you can witness is not all predicated upon this erudite thinking. Even he said that institutional manipulation had run this company down with their naked shorting. These institutions toss around the equivalent of Dendreon's value without blinking an eyelid. They have virtually "brought this company" for their own "toy" in order to play with this as they so desire while dissemination of positive erudite information abounds.

Have you read the daily charts for the years of 2012 - 2014? What do you want me to say, Chief? Do you not feel queezy when the likes of Rob Golden and his "entourage." were always on the right track and accuse those who have led the novices into the pit. Those who are still open eyed with the illumination of the brightness of their knowledge have become glare blinded as to the reality of the situation.

Chief the great thing about the stock trading is one doesn't need to ever be totally wrong. Just let them tell the bookie to give them back their bet.

Will not this overly erudite and scholarly optimism ever end?
Will not those viewing the charts and the fundamentals ever start?

  • eddysclassics eddysclassics Aug 29, 2014 8:58 PM Flag

To: Harrygee. The good thing regarding your PLUG was that you had "125,000 shares of plug and sold for a few lousy grand profit" Many are wishing that DNDN would make them feel "as lousy" as you with a few extra grand floating around.

PLUG AND DNDN are in different industries with different scenarios, different CEO's, perspectives and different futures. History can repeat itself, yes, but who knows when for what stock and industry.

Has anyone ever bet on the horses? Has anyone told the bookie that my horse is stumbling and to give back my bet and to tell the bookie to take two percent or less, or, do I wait until the conclusion of the race hoping that my horse will be resurrected?

There have been numerous erudite comments on this board as a shining light for Dendreon, but even truthful, factual positive enlightenment regarding this company would be beneficial if the light would shine brighter on what really is important to all - The health of this company. The health of its numbers.
