California Dude77: This would have been correct during these few years, but, unfortunately, the markets have become cognizant regarding this excess, and it is high time for these overly bloated and elevated stocks to revert to the mean. This market cannot go up forever -- and as was evident during the bear trap early last week.
Just as these new millenniums, or people of youth who had not even experienced 2008, let alone 2000, believing that the likes of Facebook and Twitter; Google, and Go Pro, can boost the hopeful investor.
Moneyishoney and Mavrik.
What are you doing on a stock message board anyway? Why do you not go to YouTube, or Facebook where you belong with your non-sense. Look how much cheating, stealing, despondency and even loss of lives that these upper-class stock and financial thugs have engaged in, They have bestowed tumult upon investors hoping to trust and build. Nothing bad is right, but, if there were more people of color involved in the general markets, it would be WWIII in no time.
...With 500 point swings within one and two hours, surely indicates this downtrend is not over -- this is the volatility to whipsaw. This is a dangerous market as such is the world's.
"...just before the auction."
"...all of the company was being sold."
"...invested in this."
"...No honesty of DNDN's part."
Wmic8074: You have to be kidding. At least give Dendreon some credit by notifying all potential investors that there is the ultimate risk. Their executives had forewarned you and others that there is no guarantee - not even to the penny traders prior to the stock disappearing.
Hypersman: Good point. Best to read the tea leaves, rather than the erudition of analysing the markets.
...and will continue to wait. This new bear will occasionally bounce the dead cat. There is nothing dead that will produce anything of benefit.
Eye4aneye: This is good, maybe this is why some traders make a limit order at "ridiculous prices" not believing it would get executed -- so, there you go, you did well. Sometimes you need some luck.
I bet that this market is up at the end of the day.
To: Gunslinger: Your statement is preposterous. How could you? There is no stock anymore by the name of Dendreon, not even DNDNQ. It's over. So, therefore, why still post here.
Was FB halted? My platform history of prints do not show prior to 10:24 am. NY time.
If you are looking for a negative catalyst for the downdip so far, the reason had been staring us in the face for at least one year, is that this diagonal line of incline was unusual, unnatural, and unnerving; hence, this is what we have now -- without a sniff of news regarding interest rates hike. Even with the Yellen "put," all of this time, the markets should not be immune to positive enigmatists.
All of this with no news - I wonder what will happen when we have "lift off" in rates. Just think -- not a sniff of such, and Yellen has been "putting" all of this time by hesitating to even decide when.
s240z racer: Is this what you did in 2001 wtc? What else did you do, did you load up long on stocks, Papa?
Sark: You indicated that you cannot tell the dumb from the smart is the reason for this intraday decline -- this would figure -- maybe it's both. The market is smarter than anyone, and the smart should acknowledge this. The even smarter would climb aboard its direction and enjoy the ride.
