  • All we know is that some with 75,000 shares dump their stock.... Why? We do not know. Is neither positive or negative unless it is an insider. So 75,000 shares can move this stock 5 cents.... Technical analysis is meaningless..... So JD what are your insights..... Stocks go up and down? Expect volatility? The stock can not go every day? Waiting for the precious piece of info we are about to get from you.

  • By the way..... The stock is down to 70 cents real time....Down 5 cents is ready to take off? Maybe the company knows best? Oh oh..... the MM's are manipulating the stock because news is coming, right? I am still trying to absorb the FDA approval would be huge for the stock.....Wow! You really help all of us with that very important post.

  • JD, please stop pumping the stock. You are wasting your time. If you have real thoughts and information please post. However, your post are always completely empty of any info..... " Company knows best", "The stock is about to take off" "FDA approval is huge" .... Really? Wow ! Thank you!

My take in GTHP without the hype

    by edfiggy Jun 18, 2013 3:00 PM

I am amazed how little people know about this company but they claim to own shares. The issue of the replacement parts is well documented. In my opinion it is the only stumbling block preventing approval from the FDA. How can anyone be long an not be aware of this fact? The risk is for the FDA to request additional information with the equipment as it build today versus the prototype they used for testing. Same parts are no longer available period and they had to be replacement with similar pieces but theyvare not the same ones. This could easily create a situation were the FDA delays approval until they do the testing all over again with the current parts. This could easily delay approval to 2014. If you are not aware of this fact why do you own the stock? Way too many pumpers here. I am long the stock but realize approval might be 1 year away because of this fact.

  • Shareholder of GTHP for the last few months. Bought as high as 82 cents and as low as 70 cents. My average cost is approx the current price of 74 cents. I view the stock as an option. If GTHP does not receive approval we will quickly trade around 50 cents. FDA approval and the stock will trade for $2-$3. I only have 35,000 shares and do NOT plan to buy more. The company will be at break even (cash flow) from European and Canadian sales in 2014. They will not need to raise more cash IMHO. It is my believe they will receive FDA approval if not this summer then in 2014. They hired someone that was close to the Clinton admin to better navigate the FDA mess. The results for the FDA were submitted with equipment parts that are no longer available. Will the FDA request another test or will they accept the replacement parts? There is an alpha and a beta test. I think the risk / reward favor the buyers at these levels. It is educated gamble. Do not use proceeds you can not afford to lose.

    Sentiment: Buy

Does anyone have constructive thoughts? The rant and raving about selling CVX with no creative or fundamentals ideas for further weakness is worthless.

  • CVX recently made a 52 week high at $127.40. The current slide can be attributed to oil correcting from $96+ to levels just below $92. The weakness was very pronounce Friday as CVX lost support at $124.50-$125. Today performance however is truly confusing to me. Oil is now trading above $94 yet CVX is trading at the lows of the day. You would think after a $5 correction in the stock and oil bouncing back to $94+ the stock would crawl back to $125. Can anyone can explain the weakness today? The stock is the worse performing stock in the Dow. I do not see any downgrades or reason for the sale off today. Thoughts? Thank you.

Can anyone explain the action in CVX today? Pinned down at $122.50 due to options? We got several down drafts in the last few days bouncing around $122.40 and $122.50. Oil has rally significantly last two days. Most oils stocks performing quite well. No negative news. I think we are heading to $124 early next week. Options are manipulating the stock lower IMHO. Maybe after 3:30 options will lose gravitational pull to $122.50. Weird.

  • How can cvx be down today? Options?

    Earnings & FDA

It is not due until next week. Relax. Either way GTHP works. The have now the business outside the US to start production in a significant way. Approval would be great but if it does not happen you can grow the business elsewhere while you wait for the FDA. FDA approval jump starts the process and the timing of success. Either way the company is a winner IMHO the question is the timing.

Obviously the EPS release for GTHP is not very relevant. The company will continue to bleed cash for a couple more quarters. More importantly, GTHP has the approval to start selling their devices in Europe and outside the US. I expect the company to be operating above break even late 2013. FDA approval will come the question is when. Most participants were expecting approval last year. if we get approval this year the stock moves closer to $3 pretty quick. The value of the company with FDA approval is @$10 in my opinion. GHTP has hired personnel to aid the approval process. Will it later happen this year? Not sure but I am fairly optimist that approval will occur in the next 12-15 months. Patience. Dead money until we hear from the FDA.
