Elon Musk said the Fremont factory used to produce 500,000 cars a year (when it was a Toyota-GM plant).
If each Model 3 have US$250 Nvidia content that will be US$125M revenue from Telsa alone in 2017. That is only for car display and auto pilot systems. Not including artificial intelligence driver assistance.
Since Tesla's with new style display panels is selling like hotcakes I assume other car makers will ramp up production of cars with fancy digital instrument panels. So in three years Nvidia display will be a multi billion dollar business.
Insider selling is only one of many measures of a stock potential for gains. I have ADBE and insiders started selling at high $40's when their cloud strategy gain traction, and the CTO even jumped ship to Apple. I followed and sold some stock at that price only to see it rise to $90's. NVDA price have gained but its transformation into automotive, datacenter, AI, VR is huge. So even if there is some insider sell I am not selling. Worst case maybe NVDA drop back below $30, but upside is more than double.
