The housing bubble has restarted. Is gold headed up to $1900 or down to $950?
I am in a hedge fund that uses gold and European junk bonds.
Its paid 10%/year for 3 years. But if interest rates go up, we are all doomed (stocks included).
Sentiment: Strong Sell
You bears have no idea how painful this has been.
Intrinsic value is probably $12 less $3 dividend = $9 and even at $9 I am no where near getting my money back.
Their business model is sound and the entire telephone network is moving to VOIP.
Heck, there's nothing stopping a major corporation from buying interconnect service directly from
IQNT and cutting the telephone company completely out.
With the Tinet sale, isn't IQNT immediately profitable?
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I am redoing my kitchen and bought a sink on Amazon.
Got an email from Amazon that said my sink had shipped.
After reading it out load, I cracked up.

Hi techstrategy.
What an upside down market, huh?
Looks like baby boomers had a good year and are throwing their tax refunds into retirement accounts and then buying equity funds.
We all know how well momentum investing works.
Come April 15, this bubble will bust, if not sooner.
In the mean time, I am just sitting in cash and watching bear oriented mutual funds.
Cuo.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
The earnings call was a sham. General council presented earnings and one broker asked some pre-planned questions.
General council said something about changing IQNT's accounting method, causing some accounts to look better and others worse than previously thought.
The big question is, is the huge loss due to good will write down a one time event or is there more bad news.
If its just a one time event, this should be a $15 stock.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Yahoo will be shutting down the message board website (hobbies, fan clubs). I don't think that includes messages on the financial website. If it does, Yahoo is making a big mistake.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Continued: the stock market appears to be going up because baby boomers are getting huge tax refunds and plowing it into mutual funds. Comes April 15 the music stocks. Anyone have a suggestion on how to play the fall? I have not done well buying long term puts and the bear funds continue to loss money.
Captain: seriously, the current deficit is caused by the recession. 90% of the voters never took Economics 101 which emphasized the difference between public and private sectors. I have had people seriously tell me that government never created any real jobs, that they merely redistribute income.
Its not clear whether messages website includes financial messages.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
I didn't realize until now that if I reported more than $78K income I have to pay 15% tax on the $3 one time dividend. I have a huge paper loss on the stock. What was the point of paying the dividend?
Cnessna: In 2010 I bought I bought IQNT @ $25 and vowed to never sell it.
Its currently at $3 and to add injury to insult, paid a one time $3 dividend.
At the time they paid the dividend I didn't realize I have to pay 15% tax on the dividend because I never made err reported more than $78800 before.
Now Yahoo wants me to actually come to work.
I told them my EV (Electric Vehicle) won't make it that far but they figured out that I could take a train.
By the way, how do like the new message boards? That was my idea.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
