Both the Oilsearch and IOC purchases of their respective ipi buyouts put the PRL15 value at just under $4 billion. IOC in total is/ will be worth multiples of that regardless of how the current dispute works out.
The existing IOC/Total deal is a revised version of the original signed back in December. As no objections were raised by PacLng and Oil Search bought in after the fact , they should have no leg to stand on in their objection to the current arrangement between IOC and Total.
It will play out shortly, and the pps values will continue to rise as the drilling continues. A very good year ahead.

If any of the new drilling prospects indicate the potential for additional trillions of cubic feet of ng with the possibility of some oil we go through the roof. We'll know soon enough.

I think bobcat alone finds 5tcf. It will add $30 in value to our pps.

The days are tick tocking away; the drill bit on our first well spudded this year started turning on 3/5, 42 days ago. We are nearly half way there, and from what I've read, we could get a feel for what is in the ground sooner than the full 90 days. Shorts, can you hear it..........TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK !!!

I've said they're one and the same and even suggested including bonk. If not, they are probably locked in the same room together staring at one another.

PPS currently below base case NAV of $102.87
Closing expected during next 2 weeks, concurrent with year end financials.
Oil Search buyout may require IOC and Total to modify their resource sell down to reflect OS stake. Once done IOC will receive upfront cash payment [ adjusted for any % changes in sell down ] The payment will be tax free.
The drilling of the 3 new wells although no #'s are provided and consequently no value is assigned, are however expected to yield tcf of ng . Reports on the drilling program for these 3 wells is expected in June/July

    A&E.....7.1 tcf- 11.8 tcf
Bobcat,Wahoo, Raptor &Tri.......all suggested as having multi tcf potentials [plus 40 others]

My guess is we have way more in total than anyone has even suggested so far. Multi 10's of trillions of cubic feet. IOC is still worth multiples of todays pps; the drilling will prove at the end of the day. NO DOUBTS !!!

The drilling results are due between June and July; possibly as early as late May. If just 1 confirms a tcf find we sail back to the $70's and $80. If 2 or more confirm all bets are off baby....to the moon.

The pps is currently above the 12/6/13 price of $55.50 that IOC closed on after the disastrous deal announcement 3 months ago. We are nearing deal closures and have started a multiple drilling program that will begin to generate information during the 2nd quarter.
The pps drop after a halt in trading resulted in an initial $28 decline from $88 to $60 creating a huge trading gap. We are currently at the bottom of that slope looking up. The question is do we take mini steps or do we advance as we declined on some small news tidbit? It was suggested a while ago [ I don't remember by who ] that any good news would propel us back [gap up ] to previous levels as quickly as we declined, as there is currently no resistance in place. Time, not to much, will tell. fwiw

Apparently we have a coalition that is here to stay. Happy with a 3 way partnership. Details of final structure to follow, but in an interview with Botten, it is confirmed that he feels A&E is a monstster find. That is why he agreed to pay $900 million upfront and additional payments for assets found over 7tcf. The drilling will prove that A&E has huge resources and that a refinery will be built. See shu for article.

Probably should be avi.moron meter, is running very high....90%. What a waste of effort on his part. IOC has been chosen by Total, Oil Search and the PNG govm't to enrich all their respective coffers going forward for the next 20 years. In 3 months he'll be gone.
