I think the common swap offer should be slightly higher for DORLL because of the cumulative distribution added to par value if that ever happens. Maybe 18 or 19 common shares instead of 15?

What happened to DORLL? I bought in @25.00 on May 27th. Thought I made a mistake when it dipped to 19.00 and the issue stopped trading. Looks like the price went from 19.00 to 65.00 on only 500 shares yesterday.

I think there is great value in DORLL relative to other issues-but maybe so because of the grey market issue. Last quoted price was $19.00 with May 27, 2014 closing price. On that date, DRL closed at $2.61 and DORLO preferred closed at $4.00. The liquidation value on this share is $250.00+ any unpaid distribution-no interest or dividend accrued on these distributions though (11.875 per year or 2.96875 per quarter). If you use the conversion factor at 6.2856 common shares for 1 DORLL shares, the value should be $40.00. If you use DORLO (liquidation value of $25.00 and distributions are not cumulative) being valued at $6.50 today, DORLL should be valued at least $65.00.

  • It is showing in my fidelity account with no value.
However, I am not able to sell any shares.

Is there any value to these shares? I think these are cumulative shares.

Strange trend since August of last year in BTU

This trend in BTU has continued so far with slight up in June and down in July. Will be looking to buy sometime between now and beginning of August and sell those shares near the end of August.

CLF shares peaked at 102.48 in April 2011. Since then, the high of the year in 2012 is 78.85 (January), high of the year in 2013 is 40.40 (January), high of the year so far in 2014 is 26.63 (January).

Notice a trend here in the share prices?

If you are ok with continuing declining stock prices caused mainly by bad mgmt not CAS, little stock ownership by mgmt (CAS owns more shares than all the mgmt combined) while retaining bloated salaries, then vote WHITE (mgmt).

If you are fed up with how incompetent mgmt is and want change/shake up the board, vote GOLD.

I think solarmanmike either is CLF MGMT or works for CLF MGMT based upon the number of extremely biased posts in favor of the current mgmt.
