I got charged a 2% fee based on the stock value in my account. When I inquired from my broker what did this entail, he stated the transfer agent charges a fee in June since he is holding the securities. Anybody else incur so a charge?
Something is wrong with your math. I also had 1 million shares, The reverse split was 500 for 1 leaving me with 2,000 shares. How do you come up with 20,000?
There was a postage paid card attached to the proxy which I received 2 weeks ago. I sent that back to Berkshire offices who in turn mails out the ID tags. I have followed this procedure over the years. Hope this answers your query. Fidelity will only mail proxy, annual report. You deal directly with BRKB to get the id's.
When Berkshire & 3G took over Heinz, Heinz no longer existed. With this Kraft deal we are getting cash and equal amount of shares in the new company. How come Kraft will still be trading and not delisted?
